First 19 picks

His game the other day was less than I expected. He was better later on but I had trouble noticing him for half the game. But his college tape overall is very promising.

If he requires big DL to protect him, I worry about him here unless we invest in a big strong fat man.
He led his team in tackles that game

I understand the sentiment (somewhat) but a new receiver doesn’t suddenly make Dak a better or more accurate QB.

It’s like going to a restaurant, complaining about the food and then asking for new cutlery as if that addresses the problem.

I'll be amazed if Denver takes a guard @ #5.
They don't have a QB worth a damn on their roster.

Ridley I'm 50/50 on. Like him one day, don't care for him as much the next.

Not sure how big the dropoff is from day 1 WRs to day 2 guys.

I don't follow college ball, but would it shock anyone if QB's went in spots 1-4, with Indy and Cleveland trading out of spots 3-4?

As good as any other mock this early but we know that things will change with free agency and could change a lot depending on if Kirk Cousins is not franchised for a third time by Washington. If he isn't then it will depend on who signs him and how that will affect the draft. For example if Cleveland signs him then Cleveland has a lot of other options such as a CB or S or OL along with RB. Then also Washington would end up drafting a QB. Could see Broncos wanting a QB also.

He did come on then- good to know. I have not issue drafting him.
Some say he is a bit under sized so that might let him drop a few spots. I think he would be really good in this team and pair with Jaylon will give us a great, athletic LB corps after Lee.

We have to get better for when Lee is out by injury or what not. Roquan will go a big way and helping to fix it. Also would allow us to retain Hitchens for another year and see how it goes.

We probably say this every year at this time, but this draft is not all that impressive. Being at 19 puts us just outside the range of the one prospect we all know could help this team right now. Roquan Smith.

All the talk that we need to draft a WR or OL is a negative for me. I still see this team drafting defense, and most likely front 7 guys. A WR can be found later. All we can hope for is a run on offensive skill players before we draft. I can see 5 QBs going before 19 (Rosen, Darnold, Allen, Mayfield, Jackson).

I see the Cowboys picking between the best DE on the board and the best DB on the board. Even with Awuzie and Lewis I would still go after A CB.

Agreed. Not really big on Ridley or any of the 2018 WRs.

Same scenario and I'm taking the highest graded D Lineman out of Christian Wilkins, Taven Bryan, and Marcus Davenport.

I also agree the other poster who said that Denzel Ward (CB Ohio State) will go top 18.
Right now I’m leaning towards wanting Kirk for our offense. Especially if we could land him in the second.

Agreed on DL listed.

Wow. He was only the best player on the field in the 2h

I've literally heard this about ridley from nobody

I mean, I've seen every Bama game the last two seasons. I think he's a good player, but I don't think he's a WR I would spend a mid first rounder on.

Every report I have read says his route speed and separation is what separates him from the rest

I think he's good in and out of his breaks, but I don't think he's a burner. I don't think he's gonna be a take the top off the defense kind of guy, like everyone seems go be pining for.

Anyway, I'm not basing my judgments on what anyone else is saying, just what I've seen. Take it or leave it.

Not here to argue but all I'm really looking for is a guy that can get open consistently...not too concerned w a guy that can take the lid off..whether ridley is that guy or not I don't know..I'm not sure dak can get the ball to a burner anyway

I really like Washington in the second round. Great route runner. Great hands. Great after the catch. Guy is just always open and catches everything. I also like Steve Ishmael and Cedric Wilson in the middle rounds, Both are polished pass catchers who can also get deep. Their 40 times will be interesting. Another player I really like is Samuels out of NC State, sort of a move tight end/wide receiver/running back.

I think Smith is too small to play in a 3-4 defense. I could see the skins taking Tremain Edmunds though. He is big, fast, productive, and I think he is going to kill the combine.
