For those of us who have attended a Cowboys game before, which one was your first game. If you have not, what is the first game you remember watching on TV?

As for me, my first and only Cowboys game to date I attended was against San Francisco last year when Bledsoe threw the game winning TD to Keyshawn, immediately silencing all the 49ers fans I was sitting with.

Cowboys won 48-6

Great day

Featured Emmitt's incredible run where it appeared he was tackled but came out of the pack and scored a TD.

I don't know the actual date or if it was preseason or regular, but it was when I was about 13 or 14...in the '80s. And it was against the Oilers.

At that time I was extremely boy crazy, so me and my friend walked around Texas Stadium, trying to pick up older boys.

On December 18, 1971 my father took me and one of my brothers to Texas Stadium to see the Cowboys play the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cowboys won easily. Duane Thomas had a 4 TD game.

Dec of 1985 vs. the Giants. This was the Jim Jeffcoat INT TD game and in which we won the NFC East.

Second game, NFC Championship vs. SF in Jan of '04.

I've now been to every home game since the 2000 season.

December 1988. Dallas 24 Commanders 17. I'll never forget that game. Dallas knocked the Commanders out of playoff contention. Irvin scored three TDs.

My first game was a preseason game in 1977. I performed with my high school band at half-time. As a freshman, it was my first performance with the band. Imagine your first performance with and audiance of 65 thousand. Nerve wrecking, to say the least.

98 (I think) Season Opener vs Az Cards....Chan Gailey's first game

I took my soon to be wife too her first game for her birthday.

Troy ran, yes ran, for a couple of TD's but what I remember most was Erik Williams and Eric Swann getting in to a fight and tossed. lol

May sound strange but the 1976 SB aginst Pitt at the Orange Bowl. I have attended every Thanksgiving Day game except for the 1st 2 they played and have both great and not so great memories on those game and some playoff games. What made the 1976 game special to me besides being their was the fact Dallas was not suppose to be there to begin with. We played the Vikes and Rams as heavy underdogs and won an exciting game aginst the Vikes with Rogers Hail Mary to Pearson and then just wipped out the rams the following week in LA. The SB game itself went down as an NFL classic and was very proud of the Boys being part of something great. I think it was one of Landrys best years as a HC taking a less talented team and getting the most out of them

That's funny. My first game was the 1977 Superbowl against Denver. I was 8 years old and over my Uncle's house for what I guess was a superbowl party. My uncle (bitter eagle fan was pulling for Denver) , my dad (who couldn't care less about football thought Dallas would win). Guess who I sided with, been a fan ever since.

If only I knew I'd have to endure the SB loss to the Steelers, three consecutive NFC Championship losses including 1980 to the Eagles, the decline of the franchise, the B. Ryan era.

That was a long 16 years.

Saturday, August 26th, 1995.
Dallas Cowboys vs. Houston Oilers
The Alamodome, San Antonio

Sec 234, Row 1, Club Seat 11

First and Last Dallas game I've had the fortune of attending. My father took me when we lived in San Antonio. Was great; got to meet the Triplets and everything.

Edit: Still have the ticket stub in my wallet. Always keep it with me.

Thanksgiving, Nov 28 1991. I had just turned 8 years old earlier in the year. I grew up in a household of die-hard Cowboy fanatics but hadn't really been exposed to the tradition until that day. The Boys won 20-10 and I've bled silver and blue ever since.

I had the euphoria of consecutive SB wins the next two years, the heartbreak of 94 in San Fran, then the 5th SB win in 95. After my initiation into Cowboy fandom I was spoiled with 3 Super Bowls in 4 years, but it's been a long and painful decade ever since.

That's why I want a return to glory sooooo bad. :worthy:
