My first Cowboys game was the last game in 1988...little did we know Tom Landry would get fired that off season.

This was also Micheal Irvin's rookie season.

1996. The game against Arizona, and it was the first game Michael Irvin came back after his suspension.

2003, Washington Commanders @ Dallas Cowboys. I was about 13 at the time, and I remember some pitiful Commanders fans telling me how horrible my team was, and how they were going to win. In typical Commander fashion, they lost, by 7 I think.

The first Cowboys game I ever attended was the 1962 Salesmanship game, an exhibition season charity game where the proceeds went to the Salesmanship club to help disadvantaged kids. Green Bay stomped the Cowboys. I went to a couple of games a year back then when they played in the Cotton Bowl.

When they built Texas Stadium, they raised the prices by 600% and Tex Schramm basically said people would be dumb enough to pay the higher prices. I believe his actual words were "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public."

Funny, I have never had a desire to go to Texas Stadium and I never will. I also quit buying Cowboys memorabilia at the same time.

Still like to watch the Cowboys on TV, though.

Hah, you're lucky, I think, unless you're still in college.

Junior year is horrible...5 AP's, PSAT, SAT, etc.

1st game I attended - 1996 - Texas Stadium - versus the Eagles - we lost
21-31. I believe Troy threw an interception just like Bledsoe in the last few seconds - Cowboys were driving and were inside the 10 and bam the Eagles returned it all the way for a TD (that sucked).

1st game I watched on T.V. - Sep 18, 1977 - versus the Vikings - we won in O.T. 16-10.

First game was 2004 at Baltimore, we were winning at half 3-0, lost the game 30-10. Drew Henson led us on a scoring drive in garbage time.

My first game was the 1996 NFC Championship game at Texas Stadium, a back and forth contest featuring countless Hall of Famers, Brett Favre vs. Troy Aikman, Reggie White vs. Erik Williams and Larry Allen, Emmitt Smith running for three touchdowns. The most memorable moments were Leon lett picking off a pass, Deion dancing for a huge gain as a wideout on third down, Michael Irvin being interfered with by future Cowboy George Teague but Teague stopped to protest the flag before the play was whistled dead and Irvin caught the pass after it deflected off of Teague's helmet. The greatest moment came as larry brown ended all chance of a ralley by picking off Favre with five minutes to play, after a Dallas touch down Favre was buried under a sea of sacks, four in a row and a euphoric Cowboy crowd begin to wave towels in joy as chants of "Super Bowl" echoed spiritedly through the Texas night, scattered around me grown men, Packer fans, cried in defeat.

On December 18, 1971 my father took me and one of my brothers to Texas Stadium to see the Cowboys play the St. Louis Cardinals. The Cowboys won easily. Duane Thomas had a 4 TD game.

I'm jealous. I always wanted to get one of those apartments but never did.
