He played corner this season and most people have said it was a mistake and that he's a much better FS prospect. Ramsey at FS and Church at SS would be a great tandem. It would allow us to play a true single high cover three like Seattle does and give a lot of versatility with Jones and Ramsey back there.
I have never been big on drafting safeties high, but I am coming around on Ramsey. He is one of the better safety talents I have seen in a while and looks absolutely natural there. One thing this team lacks all over the field, is instincts. Ramsey brings those to the defensive backfield in abundance.
I think he has the potential to be better than Earl Thomas. His ceiling is closer to Ed Reed, to me.
If we pick at #3 and Bosa, Ramsey and Hargreaves are there we better not trade back, unless it's two spots max. Those three guys are difference makers immediately.
