Lynda Carter from the original...grrrr.

I don't think I could watch this new one. The outfit alone looks too cheesy. Not that the original outfit looked great but I was much younger then so the eye candy effect was more powerful. Lynda Carter still looked pretty darn good in her small roles in Super Troopers and Sky High.

It looks horrible. Like a mail order costume.

Hahaha, I predicted this. I knew they'd blow it.

I've got nothing against female superheroes but there is NO WAY to avoid making Wonder Woman cheesy and campy. If they can't even get the costume to be believable, just wait till she starts deflecting bullets with her bracelets and flying around in an invisible plane.

It's like trying to make an Aquaman movie, there is no way to make talking to fish cool.

With as much push up action she is getting from the outfit how can you tell?

In the WW outfit, they look like a perfect sphere sliced in half and stuck on her chest with a huge valley in between. Real ones don't look like that when they are that size.

I saw a pic of her before the boob job. She's got a refund gap so wide you could drive a truck through it.

It's possible to produce a competent Wonder Woman television show, but it would mean having a Christopher Nolan type vision behind it and moving it to cable--preferably HBO, Showtime or even a network such as A&E. The big four network insiders have a habit of dumbing down series projects to their level, which usually sits below that of a show's intended audience.

As soon as someone approaches them with an idea for a series, they twist it to fit their ideal and taint the original premise of the show. It's one of the main reasons why new shoes like ABC's No Ordinary Family comes across as TOO campy in my opinion.

I fully agree with you about Aquaman, although the character did get a lukewarm shake of showcasing itself on the CW's Smallville. It would take a LOT of work to make it believable--without or without network types meddling with a projected series' concept.

I am very proud to say I never watched any of those shows. You do not have to be at a disaster or see it to recognize one.

IF they did "Wonder Woman Gone Wild", then I might watch.

They need a much bustier Wonder Woman. Even though I knew it wouldn't happen, as a guy I could still enjoy watching and imagining that her boobs might pop out of her outfit each week.

All shows need an angle. That's the right one for Wonder Woman if you ask me.

Would you really just watch a show for that though? I thought internet porn made shows like Baywatch obsolete (except in Germany).

Okay, so I wouldn't really "watch" the show, assuming that by "watch" you are referring to tuning in for a full episode, but I might actually stop for a minute or two as I flipped by with the remote. If they could show an extended chase scene where a busty Wonder Woman was running after the bad guy and her chest was bouncing across the screen, I might stay tuned a little longer. If they could make the bad guy being chased a busty "Cat Woman" I might really get interested.

Of course, anytime they resorted to dialogue I would flip to another channel.
