Using the playoff engine at ESPN. If Seattle wins and I think they will Dallas will play the loser of the Green Bay Detroit game.

My guess is that will be Detroit.

Also it does not matter in this scenario if Dallas wins or losses to the skins.

Yea, since I think Seattle and Green Bay both win next weekend, it's almost a lock that we will get Detroit

Probably right. But seems we will get the loser of the GB / Detroit game.
Unless both Arizona and Seattle lose, this changes things.

Tough matchup in regards to Calvin Johnson and the Detroit defensive front.

Linehan knows that team though so that should help.

The defensive front is a big concern, i hope we see some screens or short pick slants to Beasley.

It almost certainly will be Detroit. That Monday Night loss to the Skins cost us the no.1 seed.

What worries me about Detroit is they match up really well with our strength (offensive line/running game) and our weaknesses (secondary and no pass rush). It will be a tough game for sure and Romo would have to be really sharp to win it.

They are not that good as they have won many games where they should have lost. We would take care of them easily.

I can we can quibble on your definition of 'good'.

They've got Pro-bowl players in all three levels of their defense. They have the #1 rush defense in the NFL.

They generate pass rush with 4 guys and routinely drop 7 into coverage.

On offense they have two big-time WR threats.

QB is inconsistent.

In summary, they are far from perfect, however, in the playoffs defense wins games and they have a great defense.

It won't be an easy challenge.

Wouldn't it be poetic if we played and beat Green Bay at Green Bay the last time we played their we got worked the team had given up and good old Wade was shown the door.

DeAndre Levy is fun to watch at LB. Heat seeking missle.

Why couldnt we play Zona or Carolina in the first couple rounds? LOL.

I agree. Its going to be Detroit at home, and if we make it out alive, no problem, its just Aaron Rodgers and G.B. waiting for us at thier place.

Happy Playoffs!
