40% of the 2nd string O-Line that starts this game will also be starting week 6 of the regular season.

And that's a frightening proposition.

The Cowboys will show their outstanding depth with the 2s and 3s going against the Jags starters. The Cowboys running backs and receivers will make plays. The Cowboy defense will make some plays aa well.

The oline will be in such a state that Jerry caves with Martin. On a more positive prediction, I think the WRs will look so good, that this forum is going to get, well, as excited as it possibly can be while being pessimistic. I'm really excited about our WRs. I'll go one step further and say that Brooks and Tolbert are going to look like incredible WRs.

1. The backup Olineman play so badly that the offense can barely score any points or move the ball in the first half.
2. Haters use this to overplay how bad the new offense is with MM and already start declaring we wont win 8 games like they did last year.
3. Our backup defense plays really well and Overshawn has a pick and forced fumble.
4. If he plays, Sam Williams looks like a man among boys.
Will Cooper Rush show any ability to improvise?

The Book on Cooper Rush is:

1. Quick release

2. Great against the blitz

3. Great at reading post snap coverage

4. Horrible arm strength to deliver on mental processes

5. Below average off script play abilities

First thing I looked at with Cooper Rush at Training camp....his legs!! In year 7 Cooper Rush still has Dad-body legs and y'all wondering why his arm dies after 4 games..... :lmao2: :lmao2:

We will be witnessing the start of some successful careers as INSURANCE SALESMEN
A pile of rooks and STers and WALMART BAGGERS
I predict many more proclamations from CZers that will post Cowboys (& NFL tryouts for the other 31 teams) players during TC and PS that won't make the cut, will only get meh jobs in industries such in fast food / warehouse / delivery companies.
Not that any of these guys can go on to get a position as a coach on one of the three levels in American Football.
Or - perhaps change focus and pursue an equally challenging career elsewhere in life.

mr CowboyRoy--- do you not agree our offensive has opporunity to get much better....first get Martin back to RG
short passes that are like runs that is bread and butter for west coast offense....love Duece....tough little dude
i think with Pollard and Dowdle and Duece we are above average running game?....and we got good receivers not in top 5 i think we should carry 6 rcvrs.....your thoughts mr CowboyRoy???

28-23 even though on losing side...were we not down 14-0...so since that time we outscored them 23-14
not bad for first preseason game....better than many years in past where we got blown out
