NE is the best 1st quarter team in points scored and second in points allowed. We are 20th in points scored and 28th in points allowed for the first quarter.

We can't get way behind but the stats suggest we very well may be. What do you think the score will be at the end of the first quarter?

If we're within 7, that's a big win. They usually kick off, stuff the opponent 3 and out, and then quickly score. Garrett's 2 runs up the middle and then a 6 yard pass soon third and 7 ain't gonna cut it.

And yes, I know Moore supposedly calls the play, but I'm convinced Red puts him in a small cage against good teams

I like to see some new wrinkles in the formation this week, despite everything and our great passing attack, they have the best pass defense and most often the teams meet somewhere in the middle, they will give up a little more than usual and we will get less than our average... the key is going to be the running game and I strongly believe with their 3-4 scheme and their front 7, we should spread the field with 3 WR sets and employ the lead FB few times and let zeke run a little. despite their great defense, they give up almost a 100 yards per game rushing..... and they really haven't faced a RB like zeke and an OL like ours....we need to poind the ball in this game and the 3-4 front favors us
