During show they had a debate on what Aaron Rodgers was going to do. Said most likely scenario is he stays in GB. IF they part ways would likely have to be a QB for QB trade.

The only trade they(mainly Chris Broussard) could see both sides agreeing to was Dak for Rodgers straight up. GB gets their QB for next 10+ years and Dallas gets their win now QB before Jerry croaks.

I know Dak has a no trade clause but I bet that’s one scenario he would agree to.

Doubt Rodgers would ever play for McCarthy again though.

Thought it was interesting. Discuss.

it would be next to impossible to trade for rodgers. Dak's cap hit would be 80M and then having to pay 40-45M to Rodgers. that would be 125M allocated to QBs.... then we have to load the team with high school players to fit under the cap.

Wouldn’t Dak’s cap hit be GB’s?

and for the 2/3 years we would get out of Rodgers we could make it work.

I know this scenario is highly unlikely just thought it was interesting

Chuckling at the thought that we have to trade our highly paid, six year veteran QB to get a 'win now' QB.

I'd love to be the one to float this idea past Gutekunst just to see his expression.

Wodgers?! When are some of you going to realize it's not whose at center, but whose on the sidelines. Ridiculous!

LOL excellent point there really is something wrong with that statement when you think about it.

Rodgers would NEVER play for McCarthy.

If we get Rodgers and Payton then we will be in business, but I don't see it happening because NOBODY want's Dak's contract on their books.
Dallas is in the play with the players you have mode so the only way to greatly improve is with a HC change who can get the best out of the players Jerry pays, that is not MM and I don't think wishing and waiting for SP to ride in and save Jerry is happening anytime soon. We will see more of the same with MM using the blame game and it's on Jerry. I would rather see MM gone and anyone else coach the team if it's a lame duck season as some think. 26 years and the message is the same, team will be better next year, yet the results are the same failure. I find it funny that folks are beating their chests proclaiming that Dallas was 12-5 to somehow validate MM after watching the clown show game in and game out. Jerry will not do anything at this point because he just doesn't know how to build an organization. If you view Dallas with a clear view not with some homer glasses on can see that the coaching is poor to say the least and that effects every player including #4. When the HC can't take responsibility for his constant blunders why would anyone ever expect the players to. I've worked in toxic work environments with Narcissistic Blame Shifting individuals and Dallas appears to have one.

Sounds like Chris Broussard is terrible at his job and didn’t bother to do the homework (or math) on the trade he brought up.
