Try flying in a 10 seat turbo prop plane where you can look out of the cockpit windows.
You know the turb is killer on those things. The inside is cramped. It looks like you are in a winnbego and some don't offer snacks as most are just short commuter flights.
BUT...I have to say I preferred those.
The reason I liked those better...you did not have to worry about your luggage going missing. You don't have to worry about dealing with larger Airlines employees working at the ticket office who are not paying attention due to so much going on. Don't have to worry about a huge airport where you arrive and your connecting flight leaves in 2 minutes but just so happens to be at the gate that is the farthest away from where you are so you have to bust blood vessels and about have a heart attack trying to get to the next gate.
I personally think the worse thing about flying was the overlays, delays...and the turds losing your luggae/sending them on the wrong plane.
Get me to where I am going, don't make me stay the night in the airport due to problems and when I do get to my destination let my luggage be there when I go to get it....I will be happy.
The commuter flights were the only ones that did not lose my luggage or ship them to the wrong flight. It was always the bigger outfits that would mess it up.
Another thing about commuter flights is they do not screw up your destination at the ticket counter as they only go to so many hubs depending where you live.
Nothing like paying for a ticket from New Orleans to Charleston, WV and making sure to tell the ticket guy Charleston WEST VIRGINIA. Only to get to atlanta and realize your boarding gate number on the digital sign says...Charleston South Carolina. Then you have to argue at the airlines over how you are not going to once again pay full price from NOLA to Charleston WEST VIRGINIA (yes I go from NOLA to Atlanta, and when I go to get my ticket fixed to the correct destination they want to charge me for NOLA to Charleston even though I have already traveled from NOLA to atlanta). Then after winning the argument of not having to pay for a trip I already paid for, I get into an argument about a military discount even though I have military paperwork and ID with me.
Ugghh...
Never much trouble with the commuter flights and small airports.
