First two picks should be RB and WR

Some may want OL, DL, etc but the cowboys have done this a lot thru out the years with top picks only to have the OL and DL talent wasted thru out the years with nothing to show for.

They recently had one of the best offensive lines and majority are gone.

I'm ready to see a WR and RB with the first two picks and they can do whatever they want with the rest of the picks.

I love the idea of already having Milton, a RB, and another future WR to solidify the offense for the future.

Online and defense should be focused heavy on in 2026 FA and the 2026 draft.
 
I could get behind that as long as they aren't reaching. This has to be looked as as part one of a two part rebuild and wr have a longer ramp learning period than the others so I'm good with that first

Thank you, don't want to get anyone mad at me about the "trenches" though there's question marks this is OBVIOUSLY one of those positions where they're looking not to spend a high draft pick on because they brought in depth pieces/guys to compete for the job (Jones/Charles) while also having hoffman!


As far as the play makers, I agree let's not reach, if T-mac is gone, PLEASE just trade back and gain another pick to help out in rounds 2-4!!! Get Golden/Ebuka/kid from Missouri, one of those guys will be there!!!!!! As for RB, I think we need to focus on getting one that can really boost this offense. I like the options, I want Jenty (regardless of how people feel about taking a RB early!) IF he's gone no biggy, we look to Hampton/Henderson, Judkins, Johnson etc, hopefully there's not a run on RB's that we can't get a handle on. Could possibly see us using a 5th to trade up in the 2nd if we had to (hope not)

We already have nearly $70M ( Parsons, Osa, and Fowlers ), a 1st rounder, 2nd rounder, and 3rd on the DLine. I just don't think it's smart to add a 12th overall pick to the unit when we have positions begging for starters.

Yeah I don't think it's best to add defense right now, let's get this offense up to par, let's give Dak weapons to pay back jerry the 60 million a year he owes him!!! lol
 
Considering we do not have a #2 WR or a #1 RB, I think these positions need to be the focus. The reality is most likely whoever we draft at these positions this year will be starting for us. Let's get the best players we can at these positions and not be the victims of trying to outsmart everyone else later in the draft. We use free agency to sign part time temp players. We need the draft to produce starters for the next several years.

They need RG1 in the 2nd.

They already have WR2. Mingo.

So drafting skill position players will help the defense stop the run? Defense still wins championships. Ask Kansas City.

Truth be told, the Cowboys could load up on skill players and then in a few years we will be saying that talent was wasted thru out the years with nothing to show for it.
 
My only slight tweak would be to say I think we can get a very nice RB in the third, but I definitely agree that if we want to upgrade WR #2 we need to go WR in round 1.
If we get a nice DT or CB in rd 2 and then pick up a back like Sampson in rd 3, I would be happy with that.
