Fish: Cowboys intrigued by Ohio State QB CJ Stroud in the NFL draft

Can anyone explain to me how Stroud is any different than all the other Ohio State Qb's that have come out lately?

Selling season folks. You’d trade the farm for him and still would have to deal Dak.

This is about as relevant as trading for Rodgers.

Click bait central. I’m sure about 28 teams are intrigued with Stroud. Unless you have Mahomes, Burrow, Lawrence, Herbert you’re interested
This is 100% Fish wanting clicks. I’m sure somewhere in the organization, someone said something to Fish about someone in the franchise liking Stroud as a prospect… but Fish ran with it, making it sound as much as possible like Dallas is trying to get up in the top 5 to get him.

It is a ridiculous tactic by Fish and probably says a lot about how badly he needs clicks.

It is things like this - along with statements that never come to be - that makes me not a big fan of Fisher.

Youd set the team back 10 years by moving up to get him because they're gonna ask for Dak, Parsons, Diggs and a 1st or 2nd and theyre

C.J. Stroud can throw.

More importantly, he reacts quickly, good vision.

People talk about Dak holding it too long. That's not what Stroud does.

But, yeah, no shot. He's very good though. Bright future, for sure.

Didn't the buckeyes have a 2 time Heisman trophy winning running back in the 70s?
He would be the first 2 time Heisman finalist, not Stroud.
Wasn't it Archie Griffin? Too lazy to google.

But I had one of his game jerseys, my peewee coach's dad was a professor at OSU and he gave me one. I was so excited as a little guy. haha.

there is a team like the Colts or Jets that want a veteran QB without the cost that Rogers,
You can also add Bucs, Titans, and Saints even more so than Colts. I have said many times over the last couple of years the Bucs would be all over Dak if he was available. He is everything they had hoped Jamis Winston would be. I'm 100% confident the Cowboys can get a min 1st and 2nd or 3rd for Dak, maybe two 1st.

Stroud isn't a sell-the-farm QB IMO. I like his game, he's uncommonly poised for a rookie, but who's the last pure pocket QB to be successful? Everyone's got to be mobile now.

Looking at The Ringer's QB rankings, the least mobile guy in the top 10, aside from Tom Brady, is probably Dak.
