The Ravens couldn't get rid of him fast enough. That speaks volumes. He doesn't seem to be worth the time or effort at this point.

I also read that it was unanimous that the veterans in Baltimore wanted him gone. Said they were a better team without him. Just a disruptive locker room presence. Late for meetings, no regard for scheme or game plan, just did his own thing.

How big of a pain do you have to be to get voted off the team despite being a proven veteran?

The team's "Leadership Council," a group of players recognized as leaders, made it clear that they did not want Thomas around.

Seems like he was more interested in getting paid than playing football.

I don't know that. Throwing punches over errors in practice seems pretty passionate to me. Albeit the wrong way to express that, especially towards another teammate, but pretty passionate. Intense is another explanation.
