I would take Hilton. He has the speed element we so sorely lack.

The only problem there is our offensive design. I don't think we are equipped to have a speed WR.

It is always the foolproof way to insulate any argument about Dallas acquiring a player with any sort of pedigree.

Well, the Cowboys are not going to take on that kind of contract.

So basically it is an extremely convenient excuse that even somehow makes the team smart and economical for doing nothing.

Any decent player that can be acquired will be getting paid large amounts of money. It is the perfect excuse.

All in all, Dallas is just cheap. Period. They are not going to spend money on free agents because they have got burned in the past.

and since then we have invested in the #4 overall pick to get zeke. we shouldn't trade for demarco and his contract to fill in for 6 weeks and then be a bench warmer when zeke is back. you can't pay two rbs that much when you have solid backups in alf and dmc and have big money coming up in martin, irving and lawrence.
