If DAL doesn't claim Murray for the cost of a roster spot they are clearly clueless

We watch guys like Kruger, Paea, Riley, Freeney, Mettenburg, Austin Davis, Mingo all go to other teams and we just say ''we are happy with what we have''

I fail to see how losing out on any of those guys, with the possible exception of Kruger, is a bad thing.

I think we first have to ask ourselves why these players are getting cut in the first place.

How on earth could we not put in a waiver claim on a former 5th round pick who put together a horrific preseason? A guy who couldn't beat out Tyler Bray is surely the answer.

Talk about clueless. All this drama over a guy who sucks.

He is better than a dried up Showers and a broken Moore.... he ran a Pro style offense and has smarts and intangiables....... he is smallish and has an average arm but we are desperate

Yep. Freeney would have instantly been our best edge rusher. I'm not sure why we didn't give his agent a call.

Same reason as Kruger...Too old and too much money for the FO. They want min. salary young guys only.
I don't know why some of you guys don't get this. Stephen is holding the coin purse now. They just aren't

Unlike fantasy leagues, the waiver process in this case doesn’t reset just because a team claims a player. Basically, the Tennessee Titans can claim as many players from waivers as they want, and they’ll be awarded those players because they’re the #1 team on the waiver priority list. Again, they’ll stay at #1 on the list until Week 3 of this season is over, at which point things will revert to 2016 records.

Aaron Murray only played 1 year with AJ Green, and it wasn't even his best year.

I think Aaron Murray will still have a long career in the NFL as a backup at least and I wouldn't put it past him to emerge as a starter at some point (though maybe not an all-pro) but I don't think he's what Dallas needs at the moment.
