Fisher's 8 moves the Cowboys will make in free agency

He fancies himself the world's biggest Cowboys insider. If the team fails to back up at least most of these predictions he will look like a complete fraud. So the fact he has no problem being this specific on the eve of free agency is interesting to me.

Having said that, I'm not all that interested in Tyler Lockett unless the plan is to get a top WR in the draft to be the 2. It can't just be Lockett or it doesn't really change anything from last year.

1. Re-sign Micah Parsons --------- everyone already knew this
2. Sign WR Tyler Lockett ----------- doubt it, another team will beat Jerry to it, and that may not be a bad thing
3. Sign LB Nick Bolton -------------- would be great, but Jerry does not think this way
4. Re-sign CB Jourdan Lewis ----- yes, this needs to be done, and probably will
5. Re-sign WR KaVontae Turpin -- yes, but I would be ok if we get a 2nd round pick for him
6. Re-sign DE Carl Lawson -------- most likely, I would be ok with it
7. Sign G Will Hernandez ---------- would be ok with this as well, but would they be smart enough to try
8. Re-sign DB Israel Mukuamu --- no, time to move on, but of all the moves, this is just what they do. Keep a player they shouldn't keep

I see a bunch of resigning our guys.
I guess we love our 7 and 10 guys.

Do these moves really move the needle that much?
Would they even make the playoffs with these moves?
Who's our starting RB?

Bolton and even Hernandez I’m good with, but Lockett is not the same Lockett as he was 3-4 years ago.
Don’t get me wrong, I like him. Actually had a chance to meet him a couple times, and ate lunch with him the second time in a group of about 25-30 others. It was at a meeting I was at and he was one of the guest inspirational coaches.. Super cool dude and he’d be great for the culture. I’m also sure he has connections with Shotty. I’m just not sure he’d be a huge upgrade over BC who already has a relationship with Dak.

A version of my perfect off season would be Bolton, a guy like Hernandez, a top tier #2, draft Jeanty, draft a backup QB, and draft an edge.
Then extend Micah, Turp, Anger, and Bland. If we did everything else I could live with Lockett being the WR we get. But draft one as well.

1. Re-sign Micah Parsons Yes
2. Sign WR Tyler Lockett No! Tolbert had more yards and TDs in fewer starts
3. Sign LB Nick Bolton Mosher said on Locked on Cowboys that Bolton has lost a step
4. Re-sign CB Jourdan Lewis Yes
5. Re-sign WR KaVontae Turpin Yes
6. Re-sign DE Carl Lawson Other options Judon or Bosa
7. Sign G Will Hernandez Other option Daniels
8. Re-sign DB Israel Mukuamu OK
