Morgan Burnett, FS

Height: 6-2 | Weight: 209 | College: Georgia Tech

You could make Nate Allen and Morgan Burnett 1a and 1b. Before the draft it was said that the Cowboys have the same grade on Taylor Mays, Morgan Burnett and Nate Allen. This leads me believe they'd be happy with any of the tree at this point. Mays still being available in the 2nd is good news for us, since it gives other teams one additional option at safety and pushes the other two down.

Vladimir Ducasse, OT
Height: 6-5 | Weight: 332 | College: Massachusetts

Saffold would be on this list but he will be gone pretty early in the 2nd, and I don't know that we are willing to sell the rest of the draft short to move up unless the price is ideal or we see Saffold slip. Ducasse to me is a RT more than a LT, so he has a real chance to be an option and we may give him a shot at LT anyway or plug him in at LG.

Sean Lee, ILB

Height: 6-2 | Weight: 236 | College: Penn State

Sean Lee's is Rick Rosselin's 38th best player overall, and after seeing what Brookings has done for our defense the Cowboys may be interested in keeping the moment going with a heady hustle player next to Bradie James.

John Jerry, OT/OG
Height: 6-6 | Weight: 328 | College: Mississippi

We missed out on Iupati but I think John Jerry is similar in terms of raw ability, and could be available to us at some point in the 3rd or even late 2nd. He comes in to play LG for us and is starting by next year. Brewster is set to take over for Columbo but if that doesn't pan out, then we move Jerry to RT.

Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, CB
Height: 6-0 | Weight: 207 | College: Indiana (PA)

AOA has been the talk of the forum for some time, and the Cowboys have shown interest. He comes in and makes the move to FS if the other three guys we like are gone. He's fast, has a nose for the ball and is a dangerous returner that makes Crayton even more expendable.

What're your five?

I was AOA's biggest fan, but with the Dez pick, don't want him. Reason being because if you pick AOA, you expect him to return aswell. Dez is one of the best returners in college football. You don't pick a guy like AOA just to play him at safety. He's an elite returner to, and if we draft him just to play safety, its a waste. Theres better pure safetys in the draft (Burnett, Allen). What makes AOA so valuable is that he can return to, and we have our returner. So to draft him just to play safety is a waste.

Burnett or Allen. One will fall for sure.

Just read that the Bills will definitely trade up for LB Sean Lee, so I think that excludes him.

I think it comes down to Morgan Burnett or John Jerry in the 2nd round.

Jerry may want to trade up for Nate Allen or Vladimir Ducasse also.

Well, in Kiper's 2nd-round mock, he has Burnett, Allen, Jerry and Ducasse all available at our pick. I doubt that happens, but a trade down sure would be sweet if we could still get one of those guys.

J Jerry is all over the Board.

Goose doesn't even have him in his Top 100.

However, a bunch of other guys think he's a late 2nd or 3rd rounder.

I'd be happy with him at 59 or after a small trade down.

Also, I think J Jerry could contribute faster than Ducasse. Ducasse may have more upside though.

I have a feeling it might be Lee...For some reason, I think Wade's really high on him...If Allen's available though, no doubt he would be the pick. But I see him going at the very top of the second

heres my list

Sean Lee, MLB, PennState
Nate Allen, S, South Florida
Chris Cook, CB, Virginia
Linval Joseph, NT, East Carolina
Jerome Murphy, CB, South Florida
Zane Beadles, G, Utah
Vladimir Ducasse, OT, Massachusetts
Lamarr Houston, DT, Texas
Morgan Burnett, S, Georgia Tech
Alex Carrington, DE, Arkansas State
Myron Lewis, CB, Vanderbilt
Aaron Spievey, CB, Iowa
Brandon Ghee, CB, Wake Forest
Akwasi Owusu-Ansah FS/CB
CamThomas, North Carolina
John Jerry, Ole Miss
Marshall Newhouse, TCU

give me any of these guys

if we draft either of those two linemen over Zane Beadles I will be pissed.

Agreed, but it might involve moving up.

just get me 3 of these guys

Vladimir Ducasse, OT, Massachusetts (Round 2)
Marshall Newhouse, OG/OT

Sean Lee

Chris Cook, CB/FS, Virginia (Round 2)
Morgan Burnett, FS, Georgia Tech (Round 2)

Chad Jones, SS, LSU (Round 2)
Nate Allen, FS,
South Florida (Round 2)
Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, CB, Indiana (PA) (Round 2-3)

Brandon Ghee, CB, Wake Forest (Round 2)
Amari Spievey, CB, Iowa (Round 3)

Man its gotta be tempting for Jerry to trade up right now. They have the possibility to get an OT- Campbell or Brown, and a FS in Burnett in the 2nd round. We might have to trade a 2nd next year but it may be worth it if Jerry has those guys valued high. 1 of our 3rd's our 6th and next years 2nd be enough to move up within the next couple of picks to snatch up 1of these OT's?
