A good read on the value of Moore as our OC...Jason Garrett he definitely is not.

In Week 1’s second look at the tape, an examination revealed how Dallas Cowboys offensive coordinator Kellen Moore used a very balanced 12 personnel set, a one RB, two TE, two WR formation to stretch Tampa Bay’s stacked defensive fronts and isolate Amari Cooper on linebackers and safeties.

In Week 2, Dallas faced a very different style of defense and Moore adjusted his approach, boding well for Dallas’ ability to attack each opponent throughout the course of the 2021 season.

DallasinDC------ finallly what we all have been screaming for.....we suffered years under Garrett....we just line up and do what we do regardless......stupidity unless you have eliteness with every player

which has only occured few times.....Moore finds weak points in opposing defense and attacks it.....instead of Garretts montra of just beat the guy across from you every play......Garrett lives in make believe

world....you could do it in 90's because we had such talent did not matter what scheme......Garrett is stuck in 90's dream world....Moore much better OC

It's a HS Offense. Slants and misdirection to help a smart, strong, athletic QB who has trouble with downfield accuracy.

I mean it's pretty evident they don't trust Dak throwing downfield unless its absolutely necessary......dink or dunk anyone?????

There is no comparison at all. Garrett didnt know what a game plan was. Didnt know what play action passing was. Didnt know what a WR screen was or a 4 WR set was.

If Moore is great then we should easily make the playoffs. All that talent and a good OC means NFCCG, right?

Probably make the playoffs, but the defense needs to show up for us to advance. How many teams make it thru the playoffs with only one side winning their battles? It really is a team sport once you reach that point of the season.

I didn’t bother to read the article, but notice the “stacked defensive fronts”. TB was basically exposing their secondary all day to a QB, while loading the box…. They basically dare Dak to beat them, making it easy for the OC to get Amari isolated on MAN… Reading this forum, you would think Dak is the LEGEND that frightens defenses all across the league…. How May catches did Amari have against SD against a team that plays almost exclusively zone?

I really like Kellen Moore. He’s obviously a creative, young, and intelligent coordinator..

But.. I’ve also learned over the years.. just bc your a great coordinator, that doesn’t mean Kellen would be a great HC. Being a HC is a different level of responsibility.
