Flex Thursday games?

Its a good idea. Better to abolish Thursday night games altogether. They are injury drivers and it seems most fans don't even want them. Its a certainty the players don't want to play them. I could understand a Saturday night game at least that makes some physical sense. I never understood a Thursday night game.

Given the logistics involved that would probably difficult unless done well in advance. I doubt TV networks would be crazy about the idea, either. Not to mention fans of the road team who made travel plans would be royally screwed.

But yeah, tonight's game is pretty sad.

Here's my idea...

Thursday Night Football Games should be played between teams coming off of bye weeks. Coaches would be OK with it because it avoids the issue of short rest, and they would in essence have two mini-bye weeks (11 days before, 10 days rest after).

Continue with 3 Thanksgiving teams. Those 6 teams get the bye week the Sunday before Thanksgiving. Now the league can't schedule Dallas to play on Sunday Night before Thanksgiving again!

This might be the lowest rated Thursday game of all-time, and that's saying something. They need to just get did of Thursday gsmes.

No more Thursday games unless it’s opening night and thanksgiving. It’s hurting these guys physically and no one wants to see these games like tonight.

It’s bad enough we have to wait so long between seasons. I’ll take whatever they give me. If you're just dying to get rid of the something to make ya feel better, get rid of the hideous, color rush crap!

The game tonight is not a good one, and I wondered if
they could flex Thur games.
If so they should have done this one.
Many other games more meaningful.
Better to keep terrible games on Thursday since these guys typically play terrible on Thursdays anyways. How can we expect these guys to recover from playing on Sunday and be full go come Thursday? Keep the awful games on Thursdays until thus contract runs out tgen hope to never see another Thursday game ever again (except thanksgiving)

Well this week you get a Thursday game and 2 Saturday games. Next wee no Thursday game and 2 Saturday games.
Week 17, all games are on Sunday.

I think Thursday night games should no longer exist! Just on Thanksgiving...and have more Saturday games towards the end of the year!

This week and next week there are Saturday games.
They do them now, because up through the 1st week or so of December they will not go against College football.

Makes too much sense, or maybe the NFL is too stupid to figure this out or to take suggestions.

Amen! I only like Thursday night games on Thursday night

Everyone hates Thurday night games and here I am pumped because Ive got something to look forward to Thursday nights lol.

Not everyone hates them. I don't mind them, it gives me an option on what to watch, or at least change over to keep an eye on, depending who is playing. Though I have been less interested this year, but for other reasons, like Goodell and his BS.

Tonight's game is of no interest to me, as it has no playoff implications for one reason.
