Flip of the script

Dak isn't perfect, but he's certainly better than most of the QBs in the league. If he'd run a bit more on the RPO's, it might help Zeke get a little more space. Pollard did a good job yesterday, and I think they'll start using him a bit more, and hopefully use Zeke in the passing game more often too.

Dak has made a strong case for franchise QB.
Yes he has. In yesterday's game he was throwing some nice passes, and though he mostly had a lot of time in the pocket, when he needed to get rid of the ball, he did, and he was anticipating where the defender in his face was going to try to block the pass. He made some good sidearm and out of the ordinary throws to counter those attempts. He definitely seems to be growing in many ways.

Just imagine what a better HC could do for Dak.....

In case you guys weren't paying attention, Detroit lost mostly because of all their penalties. It was so bad for them the refs even missed a PI on Dallas on one of the Lions' last drives that might have ended up as a TD and a possible tie.

If they had to commit penalties to gain an advantage, then that's no different than failing to make a play. If the penalty was non-existent...oh well.

Used to be that you wanted the ball in Zeke's hands to finish a game. Now that is the reason we lost to the Vikings. And learning from that we kept the ball in Daks hands to beat the Lions. Dak is making a strong case for Franchise QB.
Dak has proven me wrong. Go get that contract Dak

Dakota performed brilliantly against the leagues 30th ranked pass defense yesterday so job well done. Here comes the true test against some of the good pass defenses

Patriots: 2nd against the pass
Bills: 3rd
Bears: 11th
Rams: 15th

If he plays at a high level against these real defenses. Pay the man his money and don't look back. Rubber meets the road

That's fair.

That's fair.

I don't expect Dakota to put up these gawdy number up against the Pats because no other Qb's are doing it either. That would be moving the goal posts. If he has 275, couple TD and no turnovers I would consider that a damn good performance, unless of course the Patriots are beating us 35-0 and they go to prevent defense , LOL.

Hes got a decent chance because of his athleticism and the chemistry with his receivers. The o-line may be in for a long day though.

Any lingering talk of “Dak is just a bus driver” by this point is ridiculous. Dak Prescott has been the best player on this team this year. He’s proven he’s an outstanding QB.

In fact, I predict that when Belechick sits down with his coaches this week, Dak will be seen as the centerpiece of the Dallas offense.

Zeke doesn't get used nearly enough in the passing game.

For me it isn't about keeping the ball in Zeke or Dak's hand, it is about understanding how the game has played out and making the best decision to win the game.

Dak was on fire vs Minn and Zeke was running into brick walls the entire 2nd half.

I completely agree. But the way they handled the Vikings game it was like they did not trust Dak to make the throws when he was making so many impossible ones all night
