I don't believe it is because they don't trust Dak.

In my opinion, it was more about them taking a lot of heat in the media and with fans in the past for not feeding Zeke in those situations and losing games because of it.
 
Ok? And? Dak was making all the necessary throws the last two weeks. Some of the passes were insane. Your statement has more to do with the defense than Dak.

Thompson was getting abused late in the game. Our secondary gave up chunks of yardage. That was disappointing.

Which is weird, because we know how much they like to ride the "hot hand", where Dak is concerned.
