Raiders might be looking at 0-5 or 1-4 during that stretch and are more willing to let Crosby go.

Cowboys haven't been to a Championship game in 30 years. Until they can at least make it to a Championship game all we can assume is that they are nothing more than a 1 and done playoff team.

If the Cowboys were contenders for the Championship/SB game it would make more sense to grab players like Crosby.

Depending on what the Cowboys would have to give up they would need to be pretty sure they are at least a Championship/SB contender first. What's the point of giving up picks/good players for making it 1-2 playoff games and then being eliminated?

Gonna sound ridiculous but I expect Vegas to contend in that division and they will want to keep him.

Also, why discount the possible emergence of the edge guys we already have? They aren’t all young and unproven. Those guys can be worked in.

Want to make a big trade, consider protecting your QB. Losing a guy like Gary would be hurtful, but it doesn’t end the season the way Prescott going down would.

I also fear that the Raiders will be better than people expect. They improved the defense via free agency plus got lucky to get Crosby back because the Ravens realized they may have overpaid with draft comp and could get Trey Hendrickson for much cheaper.

If Dallas waits to pull the trigger assuming the Raiders will be a bad team, they may be disappointed. The Raiders may hang on to him based on improvement by the team.

I'd trade for Crosby in a second because what has the method of team building they've been doing gotten us? It would at least be a big swing for the fences even if we strikeout. Having Quinnen and Crosby on that defensive line together would be fun to watch.

Our fans are busy worrying about tomorrow when we know that tomorrow looks a whole lot like today unless something changes. Crosby would represent change.

1 would be worth it for me too.

But there are no guarantees. Anything can happen.

However, I’d really like our chances.
