Florio's suspecting a Crosby to Dallas trade during the season

You can’t keep make that assumption based on past history if you choose to.

And you’re entitled to your opinion.

If they added him, I think they are.

Not much , for sure.

But like the 90’s Cowboys with Charles Haley, they knew they had a good team and were a piece or two away. Haley was the difference maker.
You are still choosing cognitive dissonance over OBVIOUS pattern recognition. You are just being stubborn and it's making you post things that you know are dumb.

I'd trade for Crosby in a second because what has the method of team building they've been doing gotten us? It would at least be a big swing for the fences even if we strikeout. Having Quinnen and Crosby on that defensive line together would be fun to watch.

Our fans are busy worrying about tomorrow when we know that tomorrow looks a whole lot like today unless something changes. Crosby would represent change.
We have done it before it was a disaster. We did that with Roy Williams. Had TO and totally overpaid to Detroit.

The bottom line is that they should fo it. They are in good position to get it done.

Crosby is better than a draft pick.
This. ^ I think we tend to be too precious with draft picks. Look at teams like the Browns, Jets, Cardinals, and Raiders that live in the top of the draft every year. It's gotten them nowhere.

The Cowboys have a closing window with Dak and some other players. If they want to win a title in the next year or two it's time to make a bold move for Crosby.

Just my opinion.

When is the last time we did what was necessary to build a stout defensive line? When was the last time we had two studs on that defensive line?

I don't care anymore about what moves today do to tomorrow because we've been waiting on tomorrow to come for 30 years. If it causes us to crash and burn and have to rebuild, what are we burning? 30 years of nothing.

Didn't Florio BS everyone about a Dez Bryant video that never happened?
Yes indeed, and he did it on the venerated 105.3 The Fan. Schefter was in on it too.

And it was BS. There was never a tape and Dez wasn’t even there.

That didn’t keep Jerry, in the middle of contentious negotiations, from telling Dez that it would be unfortunate if the league found out about the video.

This was the moment my dislike for Jerry turned to contempt.

Rumors swirled all winter that the tape was being shopped, and that the act it depicted was “five times worse” than Ray Rice’s punch-out of his fiancée. Bryant had a hunch where all this came from.

“The first time I heard that was from Mr. Jones last season: He said there was a tape of me that might get out”

Jerry’s “fixer” at the time was a gangster type bail bondsman named David Wells. Jones forced Wells on Dez and made him pay him as “security”. If there was a tape, Wells would have found it. Instead he told Jerry it existed even though it didn’t.

Once Dez finally got out from under and signed with ROC Nation, he found out that Jerry’s man had basically stolen around $750k from him through a power of attorney that Jerry compelled Dez to sign over to Wells.

If you have an immature young star with emotional control issues who has no support, I’m all for teams doing everything they can to protect their asset and help the player. But don’t send your hired evil henchman to do it under the false presenses of care and concern.

I continue to be disappointed in how Jerry’s defenders turn a blind eye to his foulness.

Every day that goes by drops the price I’m willing to pay.

Because it takes away from him learning my defense and getting to know coaches and teammates.

And each day is one day closer to being able to draft a player in 2027.
Crosby’s ability to learn the defense isn’t a concern. He’s a fanatical student of the game and an absolute nut when it comes to film study.

He’s a vocal, natural leader who has a reputation for pushing younger players. He would almost certainly become that with this defense which is woefully deficient in that regard.

It’s his work ethic, drive and commitment that really separated him from others, not just his physical ability.

If they could get a good value for Crosby it would make sense. However, keep in mind that the Rams gave up some picks + Verse for Garret.
Jared Verse is a 25 yr old all pro
Pro bowl. Not all pro. He is a really good young player.

Todd Archer on 105.3 The Fan said he doesn't see the Maxx Crosby thing happening.

Thanks a lot, Archer. Doing that in my cereal was uncalled for, sir. Smh

Do you believe Crosby could get Dallas to at least a championship game within the next 1-2 years?
That’s the question right? Because for all those that hate Dak let’s think about the fact that these guys dumb luck tripped into the last two franchise qbs. We’re a Dak retirement from being the jets, dolphins, cardinals, browns etc.

Garrett is 30 -- how did he avoid punishment with two more years of playing time?

You aren't making any sense.
Crosby is practicing. Garrett still isn’t. Crosby is more than healthy enough. He’s certainly worth considering.

..no no...get away from this. There's enough meat on the bone out there.

We dont need another expensive contract to scale
Agree

Lets give CP's scheme of "Rushing the QB by committee" a chance first.

Perhaps a blue chip edge may be required but no sense jumping the gun and overpaying for damaged goods.

Overpay when one really believes they are ONE player away from getting a chip.....keep your powder dry until you're ready to use the blunderbuss

It’s not an indictment of his ability or commitment.

It’s all about timing for me.

His value is at its highest the sooner we can get him.

This team is better with him ready to go in week one, not week nine.
