I wouldn’t pay Lawrence what he likely wants, which is around 8-10m per.

Yes they all rotate and depth is important but Kneeland needs to be the starter. Don’t need a progress stopper. Bring in some vet depth, but one that’s willing to accept a lesser role and be paid accordingly. We see how it went when Elliott got pushed aside. He was a malcontent and Shoddy doesn’t need that mess, especially in year one.

It’s really just time to move on already. Feels as if he wants one last Jerry check for the road. Go chase the ring. Ain’t happening here.

The true test is who they sign from other teams to fill the holes from last offseason and this one. They're just getting started if their going to make a change.

Let's pretend this is the year we spend on FA......typical Cowboys decision to even get this wrong.

The time was either 2 years ago or 2 years from now. I can't see 2 or 3 FAs doing enough to take us beyond Wasington and certainly not Philly in 2025.
