Guys I'm always concern after winning a big division game then playing a lesser opponent the following week. Game plan run run run.

I treat every game as important even the Browns. Win puts Dallas at 7-1 and with the Eagles vs Giants we have a chance to put more distance between us and at least one other team in the division. I think the big key to the game is jump on Cleveland early and do not give them any hope.

Totally agree, there is always an anomaly game where some bad team jumps up and upsets a good team inexplicably. I don't want it to be CLE against us.
We really have a chance to put some distance between us and the rest of the division. NYG and iggles play each other and the skins schedule gets really tough. I think the rest of the division will trade each other losses.

Philly's schedule is entering a pretty tough stretch right now, too. They have NYG, Green Bay, Seattle, Cinncy, and Pittsburgh (I'm not sure of the order, just the opponent) coming in their next five games. Hopefully, they drop at least three along that stretch.

Philly December schedule is actually not bad. All NFC EAST games at home and at Cincy and Baltimore. They lose this weekend and they are in deep trouble. 0-3 in the division is not a good look. I really don't know who I want to win out of that match up.

They play Pittsburgh twice this season?
Sorry, I was going off of my feeble memory...I should have said Atlanta rather than Pitt. Atlanta is quite a bit tougher than Pitt, IMO. Thanks for pointing out my error.

Who do we want to win this one?

I would say Philly. My reason at this point would be the 2 teams remaining schedules. Outside of games left in the NFC East Philly has Falcon, Seahawks, Packers, Bengals and Ravens left. Giants have Bengals, Bears, Browns, Steelers and Lions. Given that I think Philly remaining games will be tougher so I hope they knock off the Gmen who has an easier go

One will be either 4-4 or 5-3 overall unless a tie happens. But if Philly loses, they're 0-3 in the division.

Yeah, I was looking at Division wins. i think it best to have both NY and PHL at 1-2 instead of allowing NY to tie us at 2-1.

Don't underestimate Cleveland's passing offense.

Pryor is actually legit. It's weird but that guy is crazy talented. He'll be a handful himself without Mo, and if Coleman is playing watch out. They can put some points up.

We should be able to do whatever we want on offense though. We need our DTs to get some pressure inside and force errant throws.

I wonder what the over/under is.

yes, there schedule is tough. The thing is that their defense is good enough to win against any of those teams and their offense is bad enough to blow any of those games.

All true. My hope is that they lose a minimum of two of those games...losing more would be even better. As was pointed out to me, I had one of their opponents wrong (they have already played Pittsburgh...I should have said Atlanta, instead).
Their schedule for the next six games:
@ NYG, Atlanta, @ Seattle, Green Bay, @ Cinncy, Washington. Hard to imagine them going better than 3-3 in that stretch, but also hard to imagine them losing more than three of those with that defense of theirs. We have a fairly tough schedule, but not to the degree that Philly does. Not counting my chickens just yet, but the future is looking good right now.

just for fun - I'm wondering of the six which teams match up best and worst against philly.

NYG - they can outpace philly's pedestrian offense for sure if Eli gets the ball to his wideouts. So looks like a NYG win. But, the giants cant run the ball making them one dimensional and Eli wilts when he is pressured. The game is in NY and NY coming off a bye while eagles are on the road a second game after suffering a gut wrenching loss so that should favor NY. But NY is similar to the Vikings whose offense got destroyed by Philly. Its a hard game to pick, but somehow I think the eagles defense goes on a frenzy and get enough turnovers to win.

Atlanta - good balance on offense. J Jones is playing so well and I think Ryan will have enough time to get him the ball a lot so I could see this being a game the eagles lose - only thing is the whole dome team playing outdoors in what might be a cold or bad weather game. Still, I like the Falcons to win this one.

Seattle - Offense is just terrible right now but that defense is so good at home. I don't think Wentz will have anywhere to go with the ball and be running for his life. But I just don't see seattle scoring. Another 6-6 tie game ?

Green Bay - Rodgers gets it done - eagles lose.

Cincy - Dalton just isn't right this year for some reason and their defense has slipped, Eagles get a win here.

Washington - Tough divisional battle. Don't know what happened to the eagles that first game as I missed it but Washington gashed them with the run. Betting that doesn't happen again, Schwartz will change up and play them differently. I think they'll bring pressure and take their chances with Jackson beating them deep. This game is a bit far down the road so it may be the healthier team wins - Ill go with eagles for now due to better defense and special teams.

So that is 3-2-1. But could easily be 3-3 or 2-4. Going 4-2 would really be a great job by them.

all good points but then the way the NFL works is what a team looks like and plays like today may not be the same next week. Minn came out of the gates looking dominate but now not so much as they fell to what many felt was a hapless Bears team. Go figure. lol
