I was talking to a Packers fan about Crosby today and he said that they have no confidence in him anymore, that he's missed a bunch of FGs lately and that they call him "shankopotomous" (which is what some here call Folk).

It's interesting how these two have such mirrored careers, both starting out great and then just collapsing this year. Though at least Crosby still kickoffs, which you can't say about Folk

Yes I just noticed that too, I was so excited I just posted before reading.


Either way from what they are reporting, he will not be on our active roster moving forward.

Not sure we want to release a kicker who seemed to be having some mental issues with another one that hasn't exactly been the model of clutchness with the game on the line the last few weeks.

Martin Gramatica maybe? He's older than he was the last time around, but he was really effective back in 2006.
