That is the one. BTW, one reason I think it is so funny is how badly Mike Williams ended up.

Ya he was completely off base on the "30 yard slant" but exactly right about Mike Williams struggling. I love irony.

Yeah, there are tons and tons of different passing trees. I had to memorize 5 different trees from 6th grade to high school graduation. And what is worse is that each team kind of morphs the tree to suit thier own needs/playcalling/player skill sets. For instance, the team I coach for, and the flag football team Iplay for each use the same tree, but have changed little pieces along the way, so I'm constantly having to remind myself of which team and thus, which tree Im currently on.

Arrow route and the back shoulder fade should get numbers too!

Thats funny, because thats almost exactly the changes we have made. In the flag league, the field is so narrow that quick out routes dont really work, so we changed the 3 route from quick out to a whip route. Also, because of the way down and distance works, a 5 yard stop is pretty much pointless because you need to be gettings 8-10 yards per play. So we changed out 0 route from a stop to a fade stop.

Then, on the real football team, the main person running out routes is our TE, who is a big lumbering beast who happens to be an OT who could catch so we put him at TE. A quick out is not a route for big unatheletic players. So, we changed 3 route to an arrow, much much easier route for him to run.
