Looks like it's going to be the season for the Eagles.

Yeah... for the Cowboys beating the iggles on their way to repeating as NFC East Champs.

Not buying the Rodgers injury as season-ending yet. He will come back in the final 2 weeks with GB still in the hunt and lead them to a wildcard and probably a playoff win.

....and somehow, some way, Dallas makes the playoffs with the #3 seed, gets GB in the first round and Rodgers throws the game-winner with seconds remaining....

Jerry and Stephen should be lighting up the phone lines desperately trying to get defensive help in here before the trade deadline. Might as well overpay now in this window while Dak and Zeke are still cheap (won't be much longer)

Granted, things are going their way right now and our future is in doubt. Nevertheless, it's still early yet and things in the NFL can oftentimes change in a heartbeat. If the Dallas defense manages to rebound significantly after the bye and the Eagles falter in their fortunes, we could conceivably stage a surprising turnaround. Yeah, times are hard and the wins are tough but let's keep hope alive for better days to come.

I can see it now. 0:52 left, GB out of timeouts. We're down 1 with a 3rd and 8 from the 28. Zeke up the middle for 3 yards. Clock is ticking. Red gets nervous and calls a timeout with 42 seconds left. Bailey splits the uprights and puts us up one. Kickoff out of the endzone. Rodgers completes 3 passes to the sideline as we are in our standard prevent soft zone rushing 3. Crosby comes on to kick a 45 yarder as time expires.

And the same crew defends the timeout since you have to be sure to score and it gave us a better chance to get our FG unit on the field and properly set up.

This just got my blood boiling.. I'm mad at the coaching staff right now and this was all hypothetical. That's how bad we have it.

Football Outsiders states based on their analysis, the Cowboys have the 2nd hardest schedule left in the NFL.

The Eagles? The 22nd hardest schedule left.

Absolute best chance we have to win a sb and we have an absolute joke of a defense.

Just look at the NFL, it's ripe for the taking. The nfc is weak as hell. Packers hurt, falcons look human, Panthers and Seahawks are beatable. The eagles and Commanders look decent but in our division and don't scare anyone. The afc is not scary but the pats looking like a regular team..chiefs laid an egg..steelers are not good. Broncos are week to week.

This was a perfect opportunity wasted.

Man we got a crap load of breaks last year too. Just had to win two home games and we would have a home game Super Bowl. Garrett sucks.

Packers will somehow find their way into the playoffs and Rodgers first game back, he'll toast our defense in the divisional round with some 4th quarter heroic drive that goes down on Rodger's highlight reel.

We've seen this too many times before. Just give it up, folks. We're not doing anything this season - maybe next year, but we have a lot of work to do.
