Only explanation I have for them taking out our two biggest playoff obstacles (Giants and Packers) two years in a row. When are we going to take advantage of this opportunity?

Maybe they should have given us a defense instead.;)

Update: Eagles probably lost Peters and Hicks for the season tonight. The football gods are on their hands and knees at this point. Let's see what Garrett does with all these blessings.

Or a perfect opportunity stolen from us. This is the reason behind Freil and Mara and Goodell wanting Zeke out of the way. They are afraid.

Riiiiiight, because they knew Rodgers would get hurt, the Eagles would start 6-1, and the Cowboys defense would do what it has done too many times in recent years...snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Actually, they may have known that last part. A lot of us certainly weren't surprised.

Still waiting to see how Jones' deal with the Football Gods to buy his last Super Bowl is structured.

Seems like it has been an awfully long time, too bad we don't know the stipulations.

Your smarmy attitude has been noted.

Granted, things are going their way right now and our future is in doubt. Nevertheless, it's still early yet and things in the NFL can oftentimes change in a heartbeat. If the Dallas defense manages to rebound significantly after the bye and the Eagles falter in their fortunes, we could conceivably stage a surprising turnaround. Yeah, times are hard and the wins are tough but let's keep hope alive for better days to come.

Agree. Not saying SB, but this could be a season like the Giants had on their run. They were dead, and caught fire up to and through playoffs.

  1. The Cowboys are a wild card team, at best. There's no catching the Eagles with that soft schedule, barring injury that sidelines the QB.
  2. The Cowboys can make the playoffs where anything can happen, but the schedule is tough, very tough....will need help for wild card.
  3. Have you seen the Cowboys defense? This is a work in progress, still missing playmakers other than Lee and Lawrence.
I'm hoping for the playoffs, but this is not a SB team, never was. You can't fix that defense in one off season.

Defense. They held the Patriots under 20 points in both SBs.

I don't think there's enough fire in the state of Texas for our Cowboys this year, but we'll see.

Apparently in 10 off seasons either.

In all honest Philly and Wash look like the best teams in the NFC I've seen all season which sucks!

I wouldn't rule out NO however. They are hot right now and they killed Carolina at Carolina.
Washington? Stop playin

Agree. To me lets see more of the rookies so they are playoff ready if we get there. Also would be great to see Eagles , one and done in playoffs after they think they have SB in their grasp

Another blessing from the football gods tonight. This opportunity must not be wasted.
