Emmitt was a key to the 90’s the first SB win I was surprised by the passing attack

McCarthy runs a nice balance and the Oline did a great job missing a key piece

Solari is doing a great job so far

People who usually make threads like this, are people who don’t like people who disagree with their opinion.

So what they do is they try to label them or cancel them that is actually today’s sad society.
No...we don't like football ignorant trolls. You owned up to your thread last week, these trolls would rather see Dak throw 3 ints so they can say, I told you so.

This is another BS response. It’s so typical lately. From the same group of y’all. You lack meaningful contributions to the discussion so you play victim.

Look, We understand and respect differing opinions and encourage diverse perspectives. However, when you respond to 20 threads, and 19 out of 20 of them are approached negatively, it reinforces the argument. You're not providing any valuable input; you're simply engaging in argumentation for the sake of argument. Look up the definition of a contrarian and you’ll probably see a picture of most the people here who are negative about everything.

I thought McCarthy called an EXCELLENT game. MM is a true play caller, and Jerry should've allowed him to do it from the jump.
He called an excellent game by sticking with the run even when we weren't getting great results early. That ate up TOP in our favor and got their defense tired. So all those 2 and 1.5 yard runs were investments and it paid off with TOP. Dak did good by converting some long 3rd downs. The run he had was awesome and well timed and the 3rd and 15 to CD Lamb that kept the drive going was a back breaker. For the Jets defense to hold us to 0 yards on 1st and 2nd down only to surrender a first down on 3rd and long is demoralizing. They got demoralized and then tired.

McCarthy is doing a good job of playing to everyone's strengths on offense. Quinn is doing the same thing on defense

It is amazing how stupid we have become as a people. More and more post on not just this forum, but the internet in general is littered with football intellectual stupidity. Then add negativity to that and it’s becoming more and more unbearable!

Dallas won today by controlling the clock like no other game since the dynasty days and a defense that as given up 10 points and 400 total yards in two games. The touchdown and 68 of those yards came on a missed tackle by the safety. If that didn’t happen we would be looking at an all time great defensive start to the season and a two game span.

Offensively putting together 5 12+ drives against a great defense that resulted in 24 points is pretty impressive.

With that said, a smart coach would not show anything more than he has too of his scheme. The play calling was very very vanilla after we went up by 3-scores for a reason.

Being negative and just spewing nonsense has become a pandemic in the world today.
When I saw Moore call the play today in the chargers game where the OL caught the TD pass I thought to myself this guy is pulling all of the tricks out of his bag in game 2 and they still lost the game. McCarthy still has a lot he has not shown and Ceedee feasted today.

Here is a smart fan who see’s the big picture. Mike gets no credit by many in here and around in the NFL. After the game was in hand and safe, Dallas shut down their offense. They weren’t going to go to page 2 of the playbook. If any of you really thing we are in trouble with our O in the red zone then I don’t really know what to tell you. This team is DANGEROUS and when we play the 49ers and those fake Birds you will be in for a hell of a surprise.

There are a lot of things to work on.

We left a lot of points on the field today.

And Dak almost threw a pick 6 on that out route.

The S blowing the coverage on the Jets TD needs cleaned up.

Thanks to DLaw for wrecking the TD pass. That saved 4 points.

Time of possession was 42 to 18, this is winning football right here. What impressed me the most in this game besides our defense, was the way we were able to move the ball against this vaunted NY Jets defense. Yes we could have converted a bunch of those FG's to touchdowns, but the idea here is to win the game at all costs.

Time of possession and total yardage were well on the strength of game side...perfect management by Mike McCarthy.

We were amazing at controlling the clock in 2014 and 2016. I don't think that comment about not since the dynasty is correct. It kinda went off the rails with Kellen Moore's offense which was more boom/bust than what we have now. I like what I have seen so far.

I'm guessing a lot of those people are just people who get really nervous without an insurmountable lead, or people who want to brag about how many points we scored.

When Mike McCarthy took over the play calling, he said that he wants to play complimentary football. I’m absolutely loving what I am seeing because unlike most negative Nancy’s, I understand what he meant!
I can see that when the players come back to the sidelines McCarthy is full of compliments. Oh, you meant complementary. I got it, just having a little fun being a smart arse. Good post PhillyCowboysFan!

I just finished saying the exact same thing.

This isn't a carbon copy of our 90s teams, but boy it has that feeling. Control the clock, play suffocating defense. Aikman never passed for huge yardage, yet he moved the team methodically down the field.
It does have that feel doesn't it? Dak played an efficient Aikman-esque game and the defense is fast. The biggest difference is that Emmitt was more consistent late in games, but there's a reason he was Emmitt.
