Football Night In America

Did anyone else notice how miserable those guys were last night. I mean come on all they could talk about was how the Colts blew the game by not challanging the Burnett INT. Collinsworthless and Jerome fat slob Bettis didn't even try to hide thier hatred for us. No credit for Romo outplaying Manning, no credit to our D, no credit at all.
And then it hit me. We had a big hand in killing their game next week.
Ind vs. Philly is now a 3rd tier game. Good, to hell with NBC. Hope they get killed in the ratings.
At least my boy Steriling Sharpe gave us some love. He likes Romo.

I agree, NBC's NFL broadcasting compares to other networks' NFL broadcasting the same way that hte XFL compared ot the NFL. In other words, they are a cheap knockoff and really don't compare.

Was he on the team at the time Dallas won XXX?

I can't think of one single reason why someone would watch that NBC pre-game show.

It's like watching an Olympics studio show.

First choice of Sunday evening viewing: NFL Network
Second (I guess if you don't have NFL Network): Sportscenter
Third choice: watch paint dry
Fourth Choice: NBC Football Night in America

The only reason I watch it is because NFL Primetime isnt on between the late games and the evening game. Have to watch something to see the highlights.

Collinscrap is absolutely useless and i have been saying this for years. i rather listen to that idiot theismann rant about the deadskins that listening collinscrap bring nothing to the table. how he has a job is beyond me...

Huh? Collinsworth is the biggest Cowboy hater of them all. He's also the only one who doesn't even attempt to disguise it. Most "jouranlists" at least try to hide their bias. He's proud of his.

If anyone wants to cry about poor calls, they should take a look at the lame roughing the passer call that gave the Colts 30 yards.

No one cheated, the Cowboys won plain and simple, these simps can try to explain it to themselves all they want, it won't change what happened on the field.

Sterling was the only one that even bothered to say something to the effect of "hey, they won though!"

The others looked at him like he had just said rude things about their mothers.
Good point. Yeah, I thought it was a nice moment for Sharpe.

Most of the sports pundits have rated the Colts as #1 (or at least in the top two) in the NFL. I guess if you repeatedly say before the cameras that the Colts are #1, you kind of hate to see them lose. And it is much easier to blame the loss on so-called questionable calls.

But none of this makes any difference. All the Cowboys need to do is keep on playing well.

Exactly that roughing the passer call was one of the worst call i have ever seen. that was just disgusting that the ref would call that :bang2: :bang2:

I watched the game on TV, but listened to Brad Sham on the radio. I never heard anything about this "non-challenge" until the NBC highlight show. Was anything mentioned about this during the TV broadcast?

IT was briefly mentioned after the extra point was kicked and they showed a replay. Nantz said it could be challenged, but nothing was definite.

I spent a good part of the day painting (door frames, molding etc) and actually found myself looking over to see how it was drying...

You're right, it was better that NBC's pre-game.

I found it a riot that Bettis and Collinsworth got bent out of shape when Sharpe stood up for the Cowboys.

Then I head over to Sportscenter for the Blitz and it is a different story. Credit to Romo and the Dallas D there...I miss Primetime...

We might have gotten away with one on Roy's play. It was legal within five yards, but the ball might have been in the air. Too close to call , IMO.

Apparently Peyton Manning believes they made the right call.

If Bettis wants to complain about bad calls, maybe he should start by watching the tape of last years (cough fixed) Superbowl.

Like I said, it was close, and it's about time some of these "could go either way" calls went the cowboys way.

Also, he might just not want to bea little baby. He's not a Commander, after all.

It was the same on NFL network. Both Deion & Mariuchi were giving big props to the Boys. They were even breaking down the last 2 defensive plays on 3rd & 4th and 2. They showing what great job Ware did especially on 4th and 2 by basically taking both Clark & Wayne out the play.
