For a team filled with supposed thugs and malconents the Cowboys are so soft

Let me enlighten you on thugs.

Thugs are only tough when sorrounded by other thugs. They attempt to use their thugdem to intimidate. To push people around so people will fear them and not want to cross them.

The reality, I know, is that thugs are some of the softest, weakest people in the world. They live off the intimidation that they attempt to impose to protect the reality that is what they really are. When the chips are down, a thug will fold faster than anyone else.

I still laugh when people say a team full of thugs. If you have 53 players and 5 thugs, how is that team filled with thugs?

People should really think about what they say before posting.

BTW, what's the definition of a thug?

Exactly.

And whatever definition they use, I think they'd be hard pressed to name three players on this team that are "thugs."

I agree Monster. you see a lot of playoff teams do stuff like that. I wish Ware or any of our linebackers would get that mean streak like Harrison and Merriman.

Excuse me, but before our Cowboys start acting like thugs, they should maybe learn how to execute.

Demarcus Ware, Jason Witten, Sam Paulescu

Oh yes, exactly what we need...

more players who get called for stupid penalties.

This is a misconception.
Dallas actually values character in the draft and seldom drafts guys with character issues.

They do however take cheap chances on guys like Pacman who have proven to be good players but also headaches.

Dallas isn't the ones drafting these guys and wasting picks on them.

In one sense it is worse because they knowingly add them later but this isn't Cincy. Most guys here have high character and were drafted with sparkling reps as good guys.

This is hardly a team of thugs.

We are pretty far removed from drafting guys like Antonio Bryant or Derek Ross.

On the punt when the Steelers got the ball inside their own 1 yard line.

What's interesting to me is that Pitt has their Defensive player of the year playing special teams.

Who among our "stars" plays special teams?
