I love my cat, but sometimes he can be a pain in the butt. Ever get tired of them all walking all over your feet as you make your way to the fridge? Or waking you up at night with "singing", or jumping on your head? Now he keeps pawing my legs as I try to post this with his meat hooks. He's getting the dry food for a week as punishment.

Mine wakes me up every morning about 15 minutes before my alarm goes off by jiggling the door knob and ramming the door.

One of mine refuses to stop pissing on the carpet... RIGHT NEXT TO HIS LITTER BOX!

I've vaccumed, shampooed, BLEACHED that spot etc... but it doesn't help.

I'm currently researching how much it would cost to rip out the carpet in that room and put in tile.

Move the litterbox right over the spot.

I have an inside cat that likes to mess with me...likes to fight with me playfully, never goes outside, but for some reason that we cannot understand, likes to take crap in my son's bathtub! Of course that all started because my son does not like that cat and he is the one that got the cat for my birthday.

My other cat lives inside but is an outside cat. Every once in awhile I will wake up in the morning to go make coffee and that damn cat leaves a dead mouse right at the top of the stairs so that when I come upstairs I have actually stepped on a dead mouse and felt the crunch of bones! I know it wants to give me a treat, but ******, at least warn me before I step on a dead mouse with my bare feet!

And, to top it off, both of them think they are better than me!

But, I dig them just the same.

It's mutual, the cat doesn't like him either. I had a black siamese (not pure or anything) when I was a teen and I got on to him for something. Maybe clawed me or something. But he got upset at me and crapped (and it was runny) in my bed for revenge. Great cat beyond that.

The obvious answer is to set your alarm 15 minutes later. :)

My cat was what I thought a stray in the neighborhood, till I took him for his first vet visit. I learned then he was chipped, and belonged to an old lady in the neighborhood. The vet called her up, and her daughter told them her mother was going into a nursing home and no longer had the capability of taking care of the cat, so best stay with me. He's very well behaved, except for doing those annoying things, and pooping in my tomato plants pots. He's strictly indoors.

3rd cat I ever had. 1st was a Siamese who used to scratch me anytime I picked her up, then would disappear for weeks when put outside. She would come home only when real hungry(1970's early 80's in CA). 2nd would make me mad because she would jump into my sons crib and chew the nipples of his bottles. She also loved to bring home dead baby rabbits and mice(early 90's in upstate NY). Guess I shouldn't complain about my current guy. Love the video by the way. :)

Forgot to add about 2nd cat, came home one day from work and found she decided to give birth to a litter of kittens on my couch. Yuck.

Many people I know swear by it, especially those that have tried multiple enzyme cleaners. Before you go to the trouble of changing the flooring, try that first.

Easy way to avoid that is by getting her spayed.

We’ve got a couple now. One is an old girl, 16 years or so. Found her and a litter in the shed one spring when we lived in town. Kept her and one kitten and found homes for the rest.

At that time I would have found homes for all of them not being a cat person myself. I did marry a cat person so that decision was not mine to make.

Over the years I have developed a fondness for this cat that I would never have thought possible. She is tough, smart and even obedient, at least as much as a cat can be.

She has always been an outdoor cat during the day and indoors at night. The last year though she has been content to stay indoors on all but the nicest days. She has also become much more inclined to want to be with/on me while we’re watching tv or reading or whatever.

She has a hard time just jumping straight up on the couch or chair anymore, she has to get her front claws in and pull herself up.

Nothing will get you attention quicker than having two paws worth of claws sunk in your thigh as you’re dozing in front of the TV.
