My guess is the horse will continue to get beat.

Taysom Hill is making $10.5m. Teddy Bridgewater is next in line at $21m (20th highest paid). Kirk Cousins gets $33m.The prospect of Russell Wison becoming a Dallas Cowboy just shined a bright light on how little Dak Prescott brings to the table and how overpaid he would be at any price more than $15-$20 million per year.
Russell Wilson is the real deal; he is a real leader and he makes his team better. He is easily worth top money, and has the ring to prove it.
Dak has been living in a fantasy football world, and his fans point to his stats as evidence that he is a top quarterback, but his poor record in big games speaks for itself and tells a different story.
Russell Wilson has the ring, and no one would dare try to compare apples to apples between he and Dak. It's not even close.
And regardless of whether or not Russell Wilson comes to the Cowboys, Dak's real value- or lack thereof- is now more clear than ever before.
He's not the guy.
Russell Wilson is over-rated. He holds the ball too long, which is why he gets hit so often. He's not a guy who gets the ball out on time. He's been very mobile, and most of his big plays come from scrambling, not from passing on time in the pocket. He really doesn't fit our offense. Besides, this is definitely not a reality check....the media brought this whole thing up, and all he and his agent did was choose 4 teams he'd be willing to waive his no trade clause for. This is nothing but another QB trying to get a say in what his team does. He even made it clear that he doesn't want to leave Seattle. The prospect of Russell Wison becoming a Dallas Cowboy just shined a bright light on how little Dak Prescott brings to the table and how overpaid he would be at any price more than $15-$20 million per year.

Go on...I was referring specifically to a meaningful game against Russell Wilson. Do you have another example? I didn’t think so.Oh the irony!
Literally one minute before you posted this you brought up the results of one game as an argument for Dak.
I don't think you thought this one through.
Something I think getting overlooked .......this is the final year of Wilson's guaranteed money. The last two years ( 2022 and 2023) are non-guaranteed. Pretty sure he's going to demand a new and/or restructure deal guaranteeing the next 3-5 years from any new team.......wanna guessing his price tag???? ( Hint...$40M would be his floor )

1.we say Russell is better at this point in his career, but at the same point in their careers Dak is pretty much where Russ was without the wins and super bowl, but we all know that has to do a lot with the team and not just the individual player. We talk like Dak is tapped out in development.
2. a trade for Wilson wouldnt be worth it, he's older 32, how many more good years you getting out of Russ vs Dak who's at 27. Not to mention Russ will probably want a new deal to come here or shortly there after, How much do you think that would be? probably more than Dak.
DING DING been saying that for days now?
Maybe Dak isn't tapped out. Maybe he is. It's an unknown. But we know what Wilson is. A guy coming off three straight seasons where his QB Rating was 111, 105 and 104. Can you guarantee Dak will be doing that three straight years?
I think you can get 4-5 good years out of Wilson, easily. He's showing no signs of slowing down at 32. He's very good with his legs and doesn't take a lot of punishment because he's smart when he runs. In terms of the team, next year his cap hit would be $24 million. Dak's cap hit could be $35 million+. I can add talent to the team with that extra cap space and still get excellent QB play.
There is only one reason to not trade for Wilson........... the cost. It would cost a ton to get Seattle to want to eat almost $40 million in bonus money they'd have to account for.
That horse is in far too good a shape. We are talking "horseburger" beat.

No one mentioning it but no way in hell he's signing off on a trade with 1 year of guaranteed money.
He's not signing off a trade that doesn't include a new/restructured contract. Pretty sure he'll want more than Watson, maybe close to Maholmes money.

No depth in this argument, and I believe Russell is better, but not to the levels that people say or think. Russell was known as the bus driver when he won a superbowl, and he won on the coat tails of a legendary, historically great defense and an extremely good running game. Dak has only had one of those. What has Russell done since. He even lost a superbowl with that historically great defense when the game was put into his hands. When his defense was bad last year, he looked atrocious...not the team, he looked atrocious without the tools around him. Not to mention Head to Head Dak is up on him, including a playoff game where purely out played Wilson.
We say Watson is better BUT he only won 4 games with a bad team. Dak has never sunk to 4 wins...bad team or not. Now again, I think Watson is slightly better but the point is why does the goal post continue to move with the Dak argument.
So my question is what makes you say and what has wilson done without the legion of boom to say there is that drastic a difference?
