For everyone out there who wants Drayton Florence

I don't know much about Florence's abilities, but I can see why the Chargers see him as expendable.

they already have Jammer, and Cromartie's proven he can play in this league (on a pro bowl level). They must also see something in Oliver, the kid they picked up in the supp.

Maybe this is has more to do w/ cap issues rather than ability? I dunno.

I have never paid much attention to Florence honestly. But I did watch the NFL Matchup prior to the AFC championship game where Jaworski and Hoge broke down exactly how much of a target Florence was on that defense as a nickel cornerback. It put to rest any idea I had of actually wanting us to acquire him.

If he still had good value, I am sure the Chargers would be making an attempt to sign him again. They are not in any dire straights in regards to their cap.
