I doubt highly that Rivera will come over to be the DC,I mean what is his incentive,he has a good thing in Chicago- the paycheck. I also dont believe he wants to come here knowing that JJ wants Garrett to be the head coach eventually. Just my 02

huh? if he doesnt have interest in Dallas then why has he expressed interest in the job from reports? with his contract up Im sure he would like to look around and see what is out there.

Pittsburgh, Arizona, Miami and Atlanta all made coaching hires without even mentioning the word "Norval" (the Raiders obviously don't count).

True enough but some of those candidates hired were probably overlooked and disregarded by other teams including the ones you listed. And they also didn't wait for the Wade Phillips', Ron Rivera's, Rex Ryan's and Singletary's.

Pulling off Norv as head coach does not make me happy in the least bit. It makes it more pallatable with Rivera here, but I don't like anything about Norv being HC.
