We had 16 at the half. Say the same for second half...that would be a 30 to 32 point game. Should be enough.

This game no matter how you cuy was all on defense. Total collapse. Car had 16 attempts and had 240+ yards. Their average per play at half time was 11.4 yards....let that sink in for a minute

Jerald cares deeply about this team and its success. However, his failing has been being muleish about Dak, Lance and Sequel Elliott -- all of them his acquisitions.
The defence has become a stepchild to Jerald and tha is a shame. A big shame, me boys.
Our biggest defensive star is Micah the Mouth and he has been average going back to January vs. the Pack.

but we scored 16 points....all you are saying you expected the cowboys offense to score 45 points. and be in a shoot out. sometimes that's possible (seattle game last year, Philly game last year), but its not a consistent formula to win.

The D sucked, no doubt. It's OK for it to be both Dak and the D, just like the GB debacle. If you can't stop the run and your QB can't score TD's, you will lose a lot of game, especially when it matters.

the problem was that we don't have a running game. we are going to struggle inside the 20 all year because no team is going to respect our running game and they will just defend with 4 or 5 and drop 6 or 7 into coverage inside the 20 and make it very difficult to pass. since our depth is really CD, Cook and Fergi, then we are going to have lots of problems scoring in the redzone. Saints ran with ease inside the redzone and it makes all the difference.

The defense gave up 6 TDs in the first 6 possessions and Carr had 243yds on only 11 completions, that's over 22 yds a catch! The Saints could have hung 60 on this team if they wanted to. The offense could have done more, but we still wouldn't had a chance, people would just be complaining about stat padding in a loss.

Maybe, but it's just not good enough. It just feels like the players couldn't care less. They looked like they didn't care against Green Bay. They didn't care today. I want to see the players care. I want a reason to still defend and support them like I want to do. But I can't defend them if they won't give me something to hope for with them.

I suppose a combination of both. How is it in the two games that we've had at home in 2024, we've been blown out? We got punched in the mouth both opening drives and didn't respond. This game and the other game (Packers playoff game) looked so similar, it's like the team either didn't respond to that or doesn't care. The effort was shocking.
