For people blaming the offense

Don’t care, when you’re paid 60M/yr you supposed to be a difference maker and win games even when your defense is struggling.

Two strong powerful DTs clogging up the middle and getting some push would be a big plus to the D.
It would make the LB's/DE's/DB's all more effective.

Still shocks me that some don't understand what a difference interior disruption makes.

I think the not caring is contagious.
For the last 15 years the local channels in east Texas have carried the Cowboys.

I'm one hour south. We've been getting the Texans games this year. Not a bad trade off when a defense flying around making plays interests you

The Offense would've had to play perfect to even come close. We had to score a TD every time like NO did. Dak only has two real legit weapons, Lamb and Ferg. Ferg was out today. Jaylen Brooks fell down and got Dak intercepted then all the FG's. The true problem was that the Defense didn't show up and Dak is not capable of playing "catch up" football.

Texans are a dark horse super bowl contender. They're stacked.

How many of these difference makers are there in the NFL that can do that right now? I count one in KC. By your logic, there are a lot of overpaid QBs then.

And that is true. I have no idea how it started, that we had to pay QB's top of the market even when they weren't top of the heap type players. It makes no sense.

And you don't pay 60 mil to settle for FG's.
No QB, no matter what pay, would have succeeded with no rushing attack, no TE, only 1 legit WR (who was double teamed much of the night) and an Oline who struggled to open up any running holes or pass protect well enough to prevent 3+ sacks or time enough for your 1-legit player WR crew from getting open consistently.

In other words, your $60 million QB is not the problem.

BTW, this team has almost $27 million in cap space available AFTER you record paid both your QB and WR.

No, but paying a QB 60 mil is a huge part of the problem.
