I feel sorry for you.

I really do.

You shouldn't let football rule your life.
And you shouldn't let your pitiful and unfounded hatred toward Henry rule your life.

Henry >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Reeves

Getting Rick Rolled and not actually clicking on anything makes me a very sad panda.

According to Wade P., Newman's playing the RCB spot because of his knee and for continuity purposes for Reeves.

Gotta say, it is nice to have some young solid depth with Reeves and Jones. May not be able to keep both, but it's cool to know they've worked themselves into the rotation.

it thought it was because his left achilles isn't 100%?

i normally dont ignore people but he literally ruined draft day for me with his stupidity. When the board became about the dunce being a drama queen i just decided it best to not facilitate.

You know me i love a good argument but his routine is akin to someone dropping their pants and running around screaming 'LOOK AT MY BUTT' and Id rather not deal with it.

ah, now I see why theogt loves it

Nope. His achilles is fine. His plantar fascia tear seems to have gotten better, but while he was treating it he apparently developed some patellar tendonitis. Having hi play on the right side helps alleviate that knee, and keeps Reeves comfortable on the one side. IIRC>

I think he's got your incessant trolling on ignore...so I'll quote this for you so he gets the message. Here you go fuzzy.

oh i do and for him to make a comment like that is laughable. Its pretty obvious hes emotionally dependent on getting some sort of attention from us and Henry apparently rules his every waking moment, but when i get annoyed because when im trying to learn about our draft picks and i have to wade through post after post of him desperately trying to get people to pay attention to him that means i let football dominate my life.

This thread isn't about Henry.

Its about Reeves.

He's a good player.

He's younger and he's faster.

He's not getting paid as much...at the moment.

The future is very bright for Reeves.

Grats on the starting left corner job.

You earned it.

So who were you comparing Reeves against then?

I'm not rooting against Jacques either, but you can tell by these threads that some are getting down on him, and it's entirely because of this troll...

Funny, the store scene from "Don't be a menace to South Central while drinking your juice in the hood" just popped into my head.

Reeves is a good player, however Anthony Henry is by far the 2nd best CB on our team. One him and T-New are healthy, they will be starting in their normal Right and Left spots.
Reeves will provide good depth and be there for the nickel.

On a side note, why is no one defending Ellis against people wanting to keep Spencer in his spot?
I think Spencer is part of the future of the Dallas D but Ellis made a good case for him to be a starter last Sunday.

this is too early to be giving reeves ne starting position, he is doing what he is suppose to do...stop the bleeding in the secondary, we havent been tested but once this year in the passing game n it was ugly, trust me we need newman n henry where they belong.

Noone said Reeves is a blue chip corner. I think he's done a nice job, but at least he has Newman on the other side helping him now.

To me...

Ellis + (Newman + Reeves) - Henry

(Henry + Reeves) - Newman

Considering alot of teams out there are having injury problems, I think our's is in pretty good shape-at least Henry will be back by the NE game.

I get your point. I do think we've been lucky in some injuries but also have good depth.
My point was, with Newman at 100% (which is probably coming soon) you wouldn't want him to just play nickel, would you? We all are thinking it will me Newman Left and Henry Right?

Why would Ellis not get back his starter spot though? Do you think he will, getting almost as many sacks in 9 plays as Spencer did in 4 games, or will we leave Spencer in that spot?

Oh no-Newman can cover HALF the field, if anything-I found it funny for 3 years, we dogged him for being so-called "over-rated", but when he got his injury, we saw the silver linings and saw how really under-rated he is. As for Henry, he's far from perfect, but he's big, physical, and has a nose for the ball. To me, I have alot to criticize with him, but he matches up very well with alot of WRs in this league b/c of his instincts.

As for Ellis-at least he'll be a nice rush specialist on passing downs for now-you saw his impact in the Rams game. I would love for him to start again, but for now, his presence is felt pretty well.
