I don't know if it has been posted before, but here it is. Super Bowl 12. It's the year I became a Cowboys fan, so it's special to me. Dorsett was the man, and this team was so awesome. I thought they would win Super Bowls forever at the time:

3 weeks before I was born.

5 years before I became a fan.

2013 season can't come fast enough.

Mine was the next year, SB 13. Disappointing but it started me down this road.

That's fantastic...I recall watching this when I was 7 years old.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you find the complete game? I've looked around for some time to try and find those old Superbowl games (admittedly not very persistent though).

Thanks for posting this!:star:

man, nowhere near the hoopla that surrounds it now. Paul Hornung came the closest in his prediction.Shows how weak the AFC was outside of Pittsburgh.

I was there performing as a member of the Tyler Junior College Band at the halftime. Had a clear shot sitting in the endzone when Robert Newhouse threw a touchdown pass to Golden Richards (his last pass as a Cowboy.)

Kind of surreal seeing the team, in the way as Dan Reeves was rushing into the locker for halftime.

Told a couple of his female fans that Charlie Waters looks just as good in person as on TV. :D

That's exactly how it happened for me. Still hate Lynn Swann and everything Steelers to this day. Will bleed silver and blue forever.

It was my first Cowboy's SB victory !
I was 17 and life was good LOL.

I thought Craig Morton was gonna be taken out of the Game in a Bodybag...

What I would like to find is a bunch of videos of Kenny Gant doing the Shark dance. So far I can only find one.

Offense-Dorsett,Staubach,Rayfield Wright, Top offensive line,Billy Joe Dupree,Drew Pearson, Defense Randy White,Too Tall,Harvey Martin,Cliff Harris,Charlie Waters,Special Teams Danny White. How does this group compare with 2012 Cowboys? Maybe thats the reason we are not in any recent superbowls. It is a team game and we are not a very good team.

I just wish I had 3 1/2 hours to kill so I could watch the whole game.

Turnovers and Defense.

The Dallas D caused 8 Denver turnovers - Dallas's defensive front four was tremendous combined with Thomas Henderson's athletic play at LB.

Likewise, when Dallas won their Super Bowls in the 90's ~ defeating Buffalo twice (92 & 93) and Pittsburgh (95), it was the defense which caused noteworthy and timely turnovers which significantly improved the chances of Dallas winning those games (Jim Kelly getting sack by Haley and fumbling and throwing interceptions by being pressured by the Dallas front, Thurman Thomas fumbling, James Washington's interception and fumble recovery, and Larry Brown's well-timed interceptions against O'Donnell).

Sure Dallas had offensive stars in their Super Bowl wins, but the Defense playcalling and aggressive playmakers on Defense were, in my opinion, the unsung heroes and the keys to the victories.

Maybe Monte Kiffin and Co., can reinvigorate an assertive and turnover mentality with the D.
But with Jerry being the ultimate player-personnel decider, who knows what will happen.

I was 7, almost 8. Became a fan the year before when I started watching football the most. This SB and the one after where we lost to the Steelers stick out to me. I still think the loss the Steelers in XIII was one of the best SBs ever despite the loss.

Co MVP Randy White and Harvey Martin, they killed Denver QB's Morton and Weese all day long. :D
