Keep this in mind: if the Cowboys and Eagles both win this Sunday OR if they both lose, then the loss to Green Bay would end up being completely irrelevant to our chances at winning the division.

Don't care what anyone else says, I want a home playoff game this year.

What's it going to be then, eh?

You could have very well had that very scenario this week if we had just finished the Packers off and end up beating the Commanders. But have it your way.

I guess the best case scenario for those who want to have the HC fired would be for it to come down to that Philly game for the division and playoff spot. If we lose that's 3 years in a row and I think 4 out of the last 5?? that we had a chance on the last day and blew it...how could you not fire the HC if that situation occurred? 3 in a row missing on the last day would go hand in hand with this mammoth .500 record we have for the last 15 plus years.

A shining example of how the team is average....the team of "almost."

I'm of the opinion that Garrett will get fired, regardless of the season's outcome. When looking back at the season in it's entirety, squeaking into the playoffs in probably the worst history of the NFCE would not seem to merit another year. But then he kept Wade after the 44-6 disaster, so Jerry could surprise.

Wonderful. No thanks. So we can say we had a home playoff game, in which we will get killed in, you get 4 more years of this regime or even 1 more is too much. NO THANKS. I am hoping Washington and Philly put an end to this 4 years of sickening miserable football next week.

JG has had a lot more disasters than Wade ever did.

It would take a miracle, but this team would probably have to get to the NFCC for JG to even warrant consideration for another year.

Wrong.

If we beat the Packers and Commanders, and the Eagles beat the Bears, we'd still need to beat the Eagles in Week 17. But don't let something like the facts get in the way of your snarky attitude.

It's not irrelevant to the mindset of the team in any way, shape or form.

Actually if we had beaten the Packers the only thing needed for week 17 to be a win or else game was for the Eagles to beat the bears.

a 'snarky' attitude to go with lack of facts is worse than just a 'snarky' attitude

alexander is correct, if we had beaten the packers and beat the skins this week, the week 17 philly game would not have mattered because the eagles lost to the vikings

Not if the Bears beat the Eagles.

Like that will somehow improve Dallas' play. It doesn't matter. Stat padder for the sheep content with all alse failing to achieve basically nothing.

If Dallas wins the division they won't be backing into the playoiffs. They'll be strapped,to the gurney.

Not true, if the eagles beat the bears then week 17 game would be win or else no matter what we did in Washington.

Do the math, smart guy. Simple addition is all it takes. Re-take kindergarten if needed.

If the Cowboys had beaten Green Bay, they'd be 8-6. Tied with Philly.

Then if the Cowboys beat Washington and Philly beat Chicago, they'd both be 9-6.

Then whoever wins in Week 17 would win the division at 10-6.

Get it now? Or would you like to keep embarrassing yourself?
