Gotta love 'em.

Love Sergio Leone's Once Upon a Time in the West (Henry Fonda, Charles Bronson, Jason Robards), A Fistful of Dollars (Clint Eastwood), and For a Few Dollars More (Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef), just to name a few more Spaghetti Westerns that are on my "favorites" list.

On the Comedy side of Westerns, I really like: Rustlers' Rhapsody (Tom Berenger, G.W. Bailey), Blazing Saddles (Cleavon Little, Gene Wilder), and The Cherokee Kid (Sinbad, Gregory Hines), to name some.

Like I said, "And on, and on..." :D

Not in any particular order:

Lonesome Dove

Open Range

The Searchers

Red River

Tombstone

3:10 to Yuma both

Shane

The Cowboys

The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance

The Magnificent Seven

Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid

High Noon

Unforgiven

The Unforgiven

Josey Wales

The Wild Bunch

That was a good one.

And as far as the others go, John Wayne's "The Cowboys" is definitely a great movie, as is "3:10 to Yuma" (liked the remake w/ Russell Crowe and Christian Bale better than the original w/ Glenn Ford... even though I liked that one too), and "High Noon," and "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" ... all of 'em are such great Westerns in their own right, as well as several others you named.

Great list, jobberone.

I think Tombstone is #1 for me. I also like The Sons of Katie Elder.

Some great movies listed here.

While it doesn't get a lot of luv from critics, I thought "The Quick and the Dead" was excellent.

Also enjoyed "Little Big Man", "Breakheart Pass" and "The White Buffalo".

I really like "The Quick and the Dead"... something about it. Good ensemble cast and it's just a lot of fun, in it's own way. "Little Big Man" is another favorite of mine. I thought Dustin Hoffman did a phenomenal job in the starring role, as Jack Crabb.

"Silverado" is another favorite. Good ensemble cast in that movie, as well.

I love most that was listed

some more that I love

Destry rides again

sons of katie Elder

Bandolero

Shenandoah

lots of AUdie Murphy movies

Hombre

No it didn't either.

Honestly I thought she was more attractive in that than most of her other movies.

Thanks, I've got to try and find the Glenn Ford one now.

I left out Angel and the Badman, Seven Men from Now and the Oxbow Incident. Love Winchester 73 and Stagecoach, too. Treasure of the Sierra Nevada is an oldie goldie.

"The Quick and the Dead" was a lot of fun. Over-the-top? Yeah, but that added to the fun of the whole thing.

I thought the over-the-top Custer in "Little Big Man" was very amusing.

Also they played "Garyowen" in the film. That always earns props from me. :)
