If you take away the two plays where the Cardinals defense looked like a high school team, MBIII and Crayton going for a total of 125 yards, then the Cowboys offense put up 249 yards on 58 plays. Plus the offensive line had 60 yards of penalties (witten included on 2 false starts).

So yeah, the special teams stunk it up to the high heavens, but for anyone to even stick up for the O-Line this week is just weak sauce.

"Weak sauce" is saying "if you take away"...

And this has nothing to do with Smoaky or Cowboyjoe. It has to do with you trying to act like a football genius over those two.

Oh, what fun, watching you pretend you know what I'm thinking...

Actually, what I'm thinking is EXACTLY what I stated, that some in here are trying to scapegoat our offensive line, and that's patently ridiculous... like I said, the Boys simply couldn't put up the offensive numbers they have if the line was really as bad as some of y'all are trying to make it out to be...

But hey, it's gratifying to know that I annoy you that much... truth is, I don't care if anybody in here sees me as any kind of "football genius", I just speak my mind, tell it straight as I see it...

Let's not even say it was only the offensive line. The TE's and Deon Anderson stunk as well. Romo was beaten to a pulp by the time he got to OT.

Ahhh, so you DID watch the game...

Bottom line, if your offense gains 375 yards and averages 5.9 yards per play, against a defense that had been allowing considerably less all year, and you score 24 points that should have been 27, then your offensive line has not had a "bad" game...

It wasn't their best game of the season, it's true, but it certainly wasn't a BAD game...

The other point I was trying to make is that I've seen a lot of "smoaky's" stuff, largely because cowboyjoe is always riding his jock in here, and I am completely unimpressed with his alleged football knowledge...

Now, I like joe most of the time, for the same reason I like CrazyCowboy, he ALWAYS seems to be not just a fan of the Boys, but an ENTHUSIASTIC (some might say insane) fan, and I'll always respect that... but the truth is, he steps on my last nerve with the way he constantly talks as if "smoaky" is the be all and end all of Cowboys analysis... from what I can see, "smoaky" is pretty much a fool...

What you forget is that Romo was hit 19 times. Out of our 5 other games, what was the most Romo has been hit?

I think the Hotel did a decent job for a one armed guy. Now why they did not even try McQ or Free is something to think about.

OK, he WAS hit too much, and that did bother me some...

But hey, that couldn't POSSIBLY have anything to do with Flozell having a bum shoulder, Andre a bum ankle, and Kosier missing the game, could it?? With as banged up as those boys were and are, perhaps Garrett should have been emphasizing the short passing game and the running game more...

Even so, the line held up well enough to put up some pretty good numbers against a defense that really isn't too bad... they are capable of playing somewhat better, but that doesn't mean they played BAD... hopefully, when these boys get healthy, the play will pick up, and we'll see performances more like we saw the first couple-three games...

And the line most assuredly is NOT the reason the Boys lost that game... the offense did enough to win, it was the special teams that choked the game away...

We both know why they didn't, Burm...

The Boys simply MUST address the offensive line depth next offseason... right now, Montrae Holland is the only backup I have any faith in for the future...

We also wont play a front 4 as fired up, physical, strong, and fast as the Cards either. That bunch really can get after your QB.

I respectfully differ because the Giants can bring the heat especially when it counts. That is how they knocked us out of the playoffs and also beat the Patriots in the Superbowl.

The Eagles are no pass rushing and blitzing slouches either and even the Commanders defensively have their way with us.

Hmmmmmm, first you say, the offensive line wasnt a problem, then you say we must address the offensive line in the draft next year, and holland is only guy you think is good in backup role, etc.

thats my point, the offensive line was awful and they the offensive line admitted it, all except flozell

when your qb gets hit 19 times something is wrong, doesnt take a rocket scientist to see that;

as far as smoaky, look at my posts, nate newton, jenn engel, brady tinker, jacquee taylor, i comment on all of them not just one,

now where i think your going with smoaky is when nate newton, jenn engel, and jacquee taylor are on ktbb and i say that, on smoakys show.

i dont agree with smoaky all the time either, sometimes we disagree;

i dont agree with some things brad sham says sometimes, or jenn engel or j taylor, sometimes i disagree sometimes

and yes sometimes some things smoaky says to a point i am trying to make, gets to me, and i get frustrated when i am trying to make a point and he doesnt see it, so i dont agree with smoaky all the time

just like i dont agree with some of your posts sometimes, some i do, some i dont, or dc's posts or hostiles all the time,

we all have different opinions, and i have learned dont judge someone or think this or that, till you get to know the person,

and yes, i am a big dallas cowboy fan, and enthusiatisc fan, always will be, thats why i search tv, internet, on nfl network, espn nfl live, cowboys roundup, dfw sportsbeat and other sources and try to give what i heard or read to you zoners,

thats the main thing to me, to share what you hear or read to other fans, thats a true fan, and you stay a true fan doing that,

Dude!

Get over yourself.

The O-line had a horrible game and was a big reason for the loss.

Along with the special teams.

FYI.

Your chewing on my last nerve.

LOL
