where is a good area to live? How about Arlington?

There is an OT thread going on right now about this I believe.

Thought I was back in there by accident lol

Married w/ family. Arlington schools are O.K. but not outstanding. Arlington is a large spread out surburb that provides access to Ft. Worth for work.

Among the mid-cities Grapevine and Southlake are more up and coming with better overall school reps. Frisco and Plano Schools are top notch as well.

No children. Because Dallas grew North from downtown the Northern suburbs attract most of the nice entertainment venues and have easy access to downtown.

Purely single. Check out uptown Dallas, the new Victory area, and in the Far North the Legacy/tollway area.

Frisco. Of course Arlington if you want to be near THE Cowboys temple!

Thanks. The prices of houses compared to Michigan are insane. Thanks for the information!

I live in mansfield, moved from ny to arlington, then bought a house in mansfield.

It is quiet, has everything, good schools, nice neighborhoods and it is 15 minutes from the ballpark in arlington and the new cowboys stadium.

I love Mansfield. What a fantastic town.

The job market in dallas, compared to the rest of the country, is really nice.

At least in my experience.
