I am with Hos on this one.

Every few months I'll see a thread here that says "those meanies on ES said this"

Its laughable, its funny, and I hope you fine folks keep it up

I think it's laughable and funny that other fans from other teams (besides NFC East teams) think of ES in the same light because of morons like tr1 and his little buddy. Yet, you don't want to lumped in with those guys.

If Skins fans over at ES don't want to be lumped in with them, then they should shun those two and/or find a way to get the admins to have the sense to ban them.

Hate to tell you, but if posters here acted as bad as those two even if they were supporting the Cowboys, they would be banned. Most other forums are like that as well. That's why other teams fans think Skins fans really believe what those two dolts post over there.

Well I dont know the number of Cowboy fans on ES, but I know if they have at least 30+ threads in ATN at least 14 or 15 will be Cowboy related, thats my point.

I guarantee I wouldn't get the same leeway here that a Cowboys fan would. Nor should I (Hostile or any other Mod, please feel free to correct me if I am wrong.). You disappeared after you got thoroughly embarrassed on ES. I remember the thread clearly...

I left because ES is one of the worst forums in existence.

For instance, if those two dolts were to say something like Greg Ellis is better than DeMarcus Ware, they would do so and have nothing to back it up (which they have said and they have never really backed it up).

Then I could come in and show something like the difference in statistics, quotes from other players, quotes from other coaches, etc. all showing that Ware is clearly the better player.

Then they would make more asinine claims, personal attacks, etc. and other Commanders fans would join them. The admins would routinely do nothing and then threaten to ban me.

I wouldn't expect to get the same leeway as a Skins fan over at a Skins forum either. But when their posters are clearly breaking the most basic forum rules and they just throw out asinine statements and the admins back them up...well, I'm just wasting my time over there. And there's a HUGE difference between the way Skins fans are treated over here compared to Cowboys fans over at ES.

THAT is why I stopped posting over at ES. Not because I got one statistic wrong that I had heard from a coach a long time ago. Crazy to think this, but I don't get embarrassed that easily. Instead, I'm more concerned about spending my time doing things that I enjoy.

As much as we try to give other teams fans a voice here, there are some things we just won't allow. So the truth is, no we do not give the same leeway to other teams fans that we do to our own. There are Cowboys fans here with signatures that we probably would not allow a Commanders fan to have. It creates a different kind fo problem for a site to allow other teams fans carte blanche. We can't do it. No forum truly can.

What's the point? They're not going to change their tune. It's like arguing with a ******** kid. I actually kind of enjoy watching the Cowboy fans over there getting all riled up. It's highly entertaining.

We get the same thing on a lesser scale here as evidenced by the Skins fans input in this thread.

That's blatantly not true. I was banned for 10 days for being too harsh on a Cowboys fan. You can come in with stats, but you also come across as an arrogant know-it-all. This thread is a prime example.

Not really no. Funny thing is -- I feel that some of the Cowboys posters here do the same, but I ignore them. I don't bother with people whose only argument is to quote the number of championships no matter the topic, or constantly compare Campbell to Quincy Carter.

I love bubba and TR1. I can't help it. I find thier stuff more entertaining to read than just about anything else on the net.

I'll wake up, pour myself a bowl of cereal and read through thier posts, and laugh and laugh, and laugh. Nobody laughs with them though, they are laughing at them.

There is a strong majority of people over there that know TR1 is a fool, and that Bubba is the ultimate homer. I mean these are two dolts who put Jason Campbell as a better qb than Tony Romo. Johnny Cochran couldn't say such an asinine thing and take it seriously. But bubba and TR1 can. If thats not pure comedy I don't know what it.

The significance is the obsession with Cowboy related news, players etc. As I stated earlier in ths thread, there are two other teams in our division, but for some reason the ATN section of es is littered with Cowboy info...hmmmmm...I have always though that most skins fans are closet Cowboy fans anyway, even yall love the STAR :laugh2:
