Aikman was as good as any QB we've had, imho. That includes Staubach. Dak's 3rd, at best.

Dak has never qualified for a SB appearance and quite possibly, never will, but we'll see about that.

Your QB doesn't have to throw for 400 yards in order to win a SB. What's hard to grasp about that?

Any given Sunday a team can out perform their stats. The Lions defense did that yesterday. Most understand that you can't judge a team by it's stats or it's record on Sunday. Because upsets happen all the time.

I'm pretty sure he was trying to say Dak played as well as Troy did in those 2 SBs. What he fails to recognize is that Troy beat a lot of very good defenses to get there, and put up those numbers in a different era, in which QBs and WRs weren't coddled like they are now, and did so against much better SB worthy defenses than Dak faced yesterday.

I get Quincy’s point. Dak deserves a little credit. But he still needs to clean up his play.

Dak wouldn’t be getting any criticism if he was making 20 million this season. The contract is the root of it all really.

LOL....Quincy hitting it Everybody who watched the 90's Dallas Cowboys know that Aikman was not the biggest reason we won. It was Emmitt. No Emmitt we probably lose 2 of those Super Bowls because Aikman was not really a factor in either. Aikman had the big game over the Bills the first time and was pretty pedestrian the next 2. But he did what it took to win. And that's all I ask Dak to do. He doesn't and shouldn't try to be Mahomes. As should not 31 other quarterbacks. Dak is a top 5 to top 10 on any given Sunday.

"I'm pretty sure..." - Obviously my opinion, wasn't trying to pretend it was a fact.

"What he fails to recognize..." - Obviously, he does, or he wouldn't have tweeted it.

"Much better SB worthy defenses. - Absolutely factual, since neither team got to the SB with a bad defense.

The Lions did outperform their status as the worst defense in the league, but still didn't measure up to a SB worthy defense.

And I have no idea what your 400 yards "FACT" has to do with anything I said.
