Well, our defences in the seasons Teague was here until about 2008 were good. Campo was awful as a HC, but he could coach a defence. What we lacked was offense and special teams. With the fact we've got the offense we never dreamed of having then, if we can get an aggressive defence, I'd love to see what we can do. Imagine if we had Dak, Coop, Gallup, Lamb, and Schultz to help Emmitt Smith out then what our team could've done.
Teague has the heart which is lacking with the players of today,, I do think the inconsistency with this team start and end with the management

Oh, I agree. It'd be nice if we had consistency and more heart on this team.

The Dallas Cowboys could have as many as six new starters on defense this season, overhauling a secondary with three draft picks and the signing of Damonte Kazee. These players will have a former Cowboys starter assisting them on the field at practice, as 105.3 The Fan reported that George Teague has been invited to assist the coaching staff at OTAs.

Teague is best known for defending the Cowboys star with his hit on San Francisco 49ers receiver Terrell Owens celebrating a touchdown at midfield during a 2000 game at Texas Stadium. For some perspective, Cowboys second round pick Kelvin Joseph was born in 1999.

The players George Teague will have a chance to mentor may not remember his famous act, but the Cowboys are no stranger to having former players on the field working with coaches. Teague will work alongside Defensive Pass Game Coordinator Joe Whitt and DB Coach Al Harris.

Either you are a play maker or you are just a football player. Teague was a play maker.

One of my clients whose son plays for his football team (John Paul the II) was at his house a few months ago. He's just barely North of where the Byron Nelson was played (craig ranch area).

Pretty cool that he's a local and it's convinent for him location wise to help out at the Star

I'll never forget the day Teague charged TO for disrespecting the star. After flying down to see it, that was the only good thing about the game.

This is the reason GT is one of my favorite Cowboys player. It also the reason TO is my #1 hated Cowboys player.

For these two plays alone, George Teague can go to any restaurant in Dallas or Alabama and eat for free the rest of his life.

Good for George Teague, I love seeing former Cowboys teaching the current generation of Cowboys how it's done. I just wish Sean Lee was one.
