I don't think it has that much to do with coaching. There are several coaches and front office people who think a lot of McCarthy. Zimmer has been a successful coordinator everywhere. Although you need to look for the right coaches, if you don't give them the personnel to succeed, they won't.

If Banner had come out and said Jerry needs to spend more on bringing in free agents to help his coaches build a team than a $3 million maximum, I'd give what he says more credit.

I meant elsewhere on Zimmer, not everywhere ... although he has had some success everywhere he's been a DC.

Would anyone here want Sirianni and Moore? You guys loved Moore so much when he was here….oh wait lol.

Exactly . Siriani is middle of the road and Kellen was one and done in SD . Check out the HC in Indy & Az off the Siriani coaching tree . Not exactly lighting up the league .

MM does need to go but Banner puffing out his chest over the Eagles coaching history cmon man what’s up with that ?

"Successful" actually means getting to at least one SB, not breaking records for sucky defense, which is what Zimmer has brought.

Low football iq still clueless. If Zimmer had Matt Ryan and Kyle Shanahan as oc he would've been to a super just like Quinn in 2017 when Minnesota had the number 1 defense. But you don't know football so of course you're lost. Case keenum was supposed to lead the way huh? Lol

What our fans are most likely to see in the offseason this year is a cost-cutting attempt to cut expenses and get by with lesser talent. That's just not a recipe for success, but rather, a sure-fired way to produce another loser. This FO seriously thinks cutting costs is the secret to success, when in truth, it's just the exact opposite. The insanity with this team's leadership is legendary and they're again proceeding to prove it.

Some of our best players will be cut in the interest of cutting costs. It's a sure way to preserve an inferior product. This front office is set upon doing the exact opposite of what they would be well-advised to do. Ditching winners to welcome a field of less talented losers will never be any recipe for success. Unfortunately, this FO thinks otherwise. They're proudly predicting a cost-cutting offseason -- a fool's way of doing business..

I saw the article about this and I don't think anything was said that we here haven't already said and repeated a million times. The one thing I found interesting, and troubling, is the article claims Stephen has actually taken much more control over that last few years from Jerry. The article claims Stephen is the one averse to risk and the one who refuses to pay for top tier free agents. I always felt when Stephen takes full control things will get worse and according to this article my feelings are justified.

I'm not team Moore or anything, but he was one and done in LA due to Harbaugh coming in. Pretty sure Harbaugh got full say on his staff. They simply may of not had the same mindset for the offense Jim wanted to run rather than being let go due to being bad.

I actually didnt have an issue with Moore. I think he was having some growing pains but he was always in the top offenses minus a few seasons. He had some things to improve but Id rather had kept him at OC vs MM calling plays, and Id rather give him a chance at HC before I bring MM back. Id take Johnson first, but Moore, Monken, Brady would be right after that. I dont want another retread.
