Disagree Pollard is good and has the more speed and burst but Zeke is still the better overall back

I wouldn't be dumping Zeke so quickly. Yes, his number isn't the greatest. But that is sunk cost. Now the goal is to get as much as we can out of him.

There are few RBs in the league who will do all the little things Zeke does. Including Pollard.

Last year there was a block, and I tried looking for the video, where Zeke took on a blitzer and got blown up. You could hear the collision on the mic. But he made the block...sort of. Pollard would have crumpled like a cheap cardboard box in that collision, and barely impacted the defender.

It's great to have a shifty and quick runner, but I have seen so many of this forum's posters defend how Emmitt was better than Barry because of all the extras he did that Barry didn't.

Zeke is made in a similar mould. He will do the dirty work, and we shouldn't toss him out like "hot garbage" just because he doesn't have the burst on every play.

Quick recap, but audio above:

- Can run between tackles, but not dynamic
- Pollard is best back
- If they decide to run offense through Zeke, Cowboys are average team at best this year, and will get beat by Eagles and Giants

You have a coach utilizing an injured Zeke over Pollard. Real coaches do not handicap the entire team because a RB is playing hurt. I am sure Jerry and Zeke salary played into the decision.

Sometimes it is good to have fresh eyes from the outside of our bubble to notice the obvious.

Zeke's contract was a mistake. Starting him now is a mistake. But we keep making those mistakes worse with hype and unwarranted hope.

Sorry didn't even read what Magic Mike had to say...he will go down as one of the worst GM'S in the history of bad GM's, so anything he has to say on tv I turn the channel

If his main point is that Zeke is past his prime and it may be time for the Cowboys to look elsewhere for the player that will drive their offense then I agree. But I don't believe Zeke makes a difference in whether the Cowboys beat the Eagles or Giants or not. The RB position is mostly yesterday's news.

The Eagles have a loaded roster and if Hurts doesn't screw things up they are going to outclass the rest of the division by a wide margin. The Giants, on the other hand, well, I will be shocked if they are better than the Cowboys with or without Zeke.

Zeke was averaging 5.3 yards a carry before he got hurt. He sucked it up and continued playing and he's criticized for it.

I'm looking forward to Zeke proving all his naysayers wrong. I know he has the pride of an accomplished athlete. He's going to give it his best shot.
