Anyone follow F1? Season starts on Sunday.

Will there be more American interest due to Haas?

I have a front row porch in Long Beach CA next month :)

They have been getting the streets ready for a month now.

I doubt it, for some reason America fell out of love with open wheel racing. It might have helped if he would have put an American driver behind the wheel but probably not a whole lot. If Marco Andretti had half the talent of his dad and grandpa I think he might have been able to reignite some passion if he went to F1 but sadly it looks like that's not the case.

I'm a huge F1 fan, have my own Forum. But I've lost interest. When someone shows me they can beat the Mercedes, I'll care again. I'm not going to sit through another Lewis Hamilton benefit show. At least when Red Bull was dominant, Ferrari/Alonso could push them hard.

That said, I'll still be watching Oz.

Great first race for Haas. First time in decades a new team has scored on it's debut. Looks like they may stick.

It was boring compared to NASCAR when NASCAR had all the side by side racing and lead changes. Open wheel stuff is too spread out, no banging, and no lap after lap excitement. Now, sadly, NASCAR resembles that boring style like the open wheel stuff.

5th place for Grosjean yesterday. Another spectacular result for a new team.

This. Even with Rosberg winning the two first races it's still a boring Mercedes show.
